Treyarch and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 had a great run at the San Diego Comic-Con this week. In addition to the great news regarding the new Call of Duty Juggernog Edition, Shadow of Evil content, Zombie mode, and Dier Riese is the confirmation of the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta.
A previous Inquisitr report wrote about the rumors of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in May, and the time has finally come for Treyarch to confirm these leaks.

The International Business Times reports that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for those who pre-order the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 game. However, the beta for PlayStation 4 will be released prior to the Xbox One and PC consoles, and the Call of Duty website confirmed that August 19 will be the release date of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta for PlayStation 4. As of writing, no release dates has yet been announced for Xbox One and PC.
To get access to the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 beta, the Black Ops 3 beta website says that you must pre-order the game through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Live Store, or other participating retail stores. Each game retailer will have a limited supply of the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 beta codes, so it is best for those who want to join the beta to pre-order as soon as they can. Information about participating retail stores and online purchases could be accessed through the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 website here.
Those pre-ordering the game through retailers will be given a beta access code through the game receipt or e-mail, while those pre-ordering through Steam, PlayStation Store, or Xbox Live Store won’t need a code since their consoles will automatically be registered to the beta. Steps and instructions on redeeming or activating the beta codes are also listed on the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 beta website.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One is set for a public release on November 6. For those who can’t wait to get their hands on the game, the better bet is to pre-order now to get exclusive access to the beta. The Call of Duty Black Ops 3 beta won’t feature the whole game, but it will include interesting snippets and a fair amount of play time.
