Katherine Heigl Returning To ‘Grey’s Anatomy’?
Katherine Heigl has been dominating Hollywood gossip lately, with rumors that the gorgeous actress, aka Izzie from Grey’s Anatomy, is returning for the show’s twelfth season.
Katherine Heigl played an integral role in the first six seasons of Grey’s Anatomy, the medical drama series focusing on a group of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in Seattle, and she was definitely one of the most popular characters of the show. Katherine Heigl played Dr. Izzie Stevens, and now we’re asking – is she really making a comeback?
The Huffington Post reported that while Katherine Heigl was talking to Entertainment Tonight, she denied there was any truth to the rumors about her supposed return to the show: she even found herself searching for an answer when asked if she was considering making a comeback.
“You know, I think that, uh… I don’t know how to answer that. I’m sorry.”
It’s obvious that Katherine’s fans won’t be happy about this.

Katherine Heigl, The Ugly Truth actor. walked out of the show after its sixth season when it was speculated that she was enduring a tense relationship with the show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes. Later on in the interview, Katherine went on to say that she was grateful for the six seasons she was part of the show, and regretted that she left fans, and Shonda Rhimes in particular, with such a negative impression of her. News Australia reported that Katherine Heigl has been in the news quite often since she walked out ofGrey’s Anatomy, publicly criticizing the writers of the show and the creators of her movie Knocked Up. She has been very open about the fact that she hated being part of the movie.
It was a little sexist. It paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as loveable, goofy, fun-loving guys.
Bio reported that, even though Katherine Heigl has been involved in several controversies, she’s already had a great start to her movie career – making four movies between 2008 and 2010, including 27 Dresses, The Ugly Truth, Killers and Life as We Know it.
In 2009, Katherine Heigl and her husband adopted a special-needs Korean child named Nancy Leigh. They later nicknamed the child Naleigh, and since that time Katherine has been a devoted mother, focusing more than ever on maintaining an effective work-life balance.
