Katy Perry Has A New Boyfriend, Spotted Kissing Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd

It looks like Katy Perry is officially moving on from Russell Brand. The two divorced at the end of last year and several rumors have popped up since then about the singer’s love life. She was rumored to be dating 22-year-old model Baptiste Giabiconi, but it looks like Perry now has her eye set on Florence + The Machine Guitarist Robert Ackroyd.

Perry was reportedly hanging out with the band a lot during Coachella and was seen holding hands and kissing Ackroyd. A source told Life & Style Magazine:

“Backstage at the Artist Lounge at Coachella last weekend, Katy kept saying her boyfriend was the guitar player for Florence + the Machine. She and a bunch of friends were supposed to go see Dr Dre together, but Katy said she was waiting to watch her boyfriend perform!”

US Magazine writes:

“(Perry) packed on the PDA with the tattooed British rocker as they took in the shows: Hugging, holding hands and kissing in the audience.”

And if an anonymous source isn’t enough to convince you that Perry and Ackroyd are dating, here’s even more CONCRETE proof. Ackroyd started following Perry on Twitter a few days after the festival. Ackroyd wrote:

“Best Coachella ever. Scratch that, best weekend ever. Dre, Snoop, Pac, Nate, Fiddy & KP.”

But Ackroyd may just be a fun distraction for the pop singer. According to another source, Perry is still hung up on Brand. A source told US Weekly:

“Katy’s been trying to get [Russell] back! She’s a lost soul right now. Right now, Katy and Russell are trying to get to the point where they can at least be friends.”
