Justin Bieber, Skrillex, Lil Wayne, Minaj, The Weeknd Headlining Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival
Get ready for Billboard’s first-ever music festival. Justin Bieber, Skrillex, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and The Weeknd are set to headline at Billboard’s first Hot 100 Music Festival.
Strictly speaking, Justin Bieber’s upcoming turn at the music festival has been billed as a special performance, which sounds like it will be a rendition of his now top 10 collaborative hit with Jack U’s Diplo and Skrillex on “Where Are U Now.”
The festival’s superstar (and lesser) lineup has enough genres to please everyone and touches down at New York’s Jones Beach Theater, and its surrounding beach, on August 22 and 23.

Other Hot 100 festival performers will see stage spots from Fetty Wap, Kiesza, Little Mix, Jason Derulo, Betty Who, Cold War Kids, American Authors, Santigold, Halsey, and more. In total, over 40 music acts will grace either the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, or one of two additional stages — one of which is on the beach.
Pre-sale tickets for Citi MasterCard cardmembers starts on July 13. Tickets for the general public go on sale July 16 at 10 a.m. ET at LiveNation.com.

In a statement, Billboard co-president John Amato said, “It’s an honor to be able to extend the Billboard brand into the festival space, and we feel that Jones Beach is the perfect location to create something truly unique and unforgettable.”
Live Nation president and CEO Michael Rapino added, “The Hot 100 Music Festival will be one of those truly memorable summer concert events. We are very excited to bring fans some of summer 2015’s chart-toppers in a venue that will showcase the best these artists have to offer.”
Meanwhile, the Biebs’ musical comeback continues apace on the wings of “Where Are U Now.” The single’s recent ascent into Billboard’s Top 10 was powered by its impressive, art-packed music video.
As far as performances go, the Canadian was first seen on a major stage this year vibing up with Skrillex and Diplo at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival in March. Bieber then headlined at Wango Tango back in May and is set to play at the U.K.’s Fusion Festival on August 28, six days after Billboard’s inaugural Hot 100 Music Festival.
