Cynthia Bailey On Claudia Jordan’s ‘RHOA’ Future, Claudia Says She’s Doing Great Financially
Will Season 8 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta really be without Claudia Jordan? During an interview with Real Mr. Housewife, posted on Wednesday, Cynthia Bailey said that viewers shouldn’t count on Claudia being out just yet. Cynthia pointed out that filming hasn’t started yet, and things can change last-minute.
“I still think it’s a little too early to say if Claudia Jordan is officially gone to be honest. We haven’t started filming yet and the process has been a little unpredictable in the past couple of years. Claudia came on as a friend and ended up being a Housewife.”
Cynthia believes Claudia should stay on the show.
“When it comes to Claudia Jordan. I think it’s not over till it’s over. I thought she was a great addition to the show. She’s fearless and she’s 100% real and I don’t think there’s anyone else on the show like Claudia Jordan. I think she’s uniquely herself. It’s great to show different, strong personalities, and I thought she was definitely a breath of fresh air.”
One thing that is definite is that Cynthia will be a part of the Season 8 cast. Cynthia joked that while she’s a fan of the show having new cast members, she already fills the “smart, beautiful, classy girl” role.
“I always think it’s a good idea to bring in new people that aren’t as invested and don’t have invested friendships yet. I don’t think it should be one person it should be a couple of people. I think they should be someone that is strong, opinionated, and willing to jump in and mix it up a little bit. We definitely don’t need another smart, beautiful, classy girl to come in. That spot is already filled.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kenya Moore has also voiced her opinion that Claudia should stay on the show.
On Wednesday, Claudia announced, via her Facebook page, that she was voluntarily leaving The Rickey Smiley Show, on which she had been a co-host for the past year. She mentioned how grateful she was for the opportunity since it also led to Real Housewives, which in turn led to more opportunities.
“After working on The Rickey Smiley Show for a year I am moving on to more opportunities. There are a whole lot of things I want to do that will better showcase my talents, personality, intelligence and wittiness and I’m ready to pursue them! I’m grateful to Reach Media and to Mr. Smiley for giving me the opportunity which in turn helped me have a reason to be in Atlanta to be on the Real Housewives of Atlanta which was another amazing opportunity that has brought me nothing but more exposure, more checks and more opportunities in film and many other things.”
She subsequently lashed out at someone who asked how she could get fired from two jobs.
“Really I got fired from two jobs? LOL…. How am I eating and living? DO u know how good I am with money and how much I’ve made in the past year that I have saved? I can chill for YEARS and be ok. Stay out my pockets please. Im good!”
Claudia Jordan is continuing to send hints that she may return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta and join Cynthia Bailey and the rest of the women for another season. On Friday morning, she laughed at an article that called her an “axed housewife.”
