Kanye West is famed for the size of his ego as much as he is for his music. With the amount of criticism coming his way, West would do well to add having a hide as thick as a rhinoceros to his armory. When West was announced as a headline act for this year’s Glastonbury festival , a petition was raised demanding that the iconic festival remove West from the lineup. Over 140,000 people signed the petition. West did appear at Glastonbury but, to be kind, reviews were mixed, with many people insisting that West was the worst headliner in Glastonbury festival.
West was then slammed by members of veteran rock band The Who after Kanye, somewhat immodestly, declared himself to be the world’s “greatest living rock star.” Criticism of West continues to mount. Billboard reports that earlier this week, Slipknot singer Corey Taylor tore Kanye a new one in an interview.
“Kanye, you are not — not — the greatest living rock star of all time, the fact that you had to tell people that kind of says it all. You remind of the guy who brags about p***y. They never get as much as they brag about.”
Taylor then slapped his wrist, as if shooing away a pesky fly, and hit Kanye with a closing “stop it!” If that wasn’t enough, West was then roundly criticized after the aspiring fashion designer styled his wife, Kim Kardashian, for what the Daily Mail described as a “bizarre” photo-shoot. West faced a barrage of abuse after pictures emerged of the shoot that showed Kardashian posing almost naked on a huge pile of dirt.
Perhaps the most scathing criticism of West came from David Crosby. Crosby, the one time Byrds and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young member labelled the rapper a “poser” and more recently claimed that West “can’t write, sing or play”. If that wasn’t bad enough Crosby, launched an astonishing attack on West when he was asked how he had enjoyed Kanye’s performance at Glastonbury.
According to NME , Crosby took to Twitter to reiterate his dislike of West. Crosby claimed that Kanye “can’t write, sing or play at all. He is an egomaniac. He is as dumb as a post, he creates nothing and he helps no one.”
@adamweiler_ as I said ..he can’t write , sing , or play At all He is an egomaniac He is dumb as a post He creates nothing Helps no one

It is probably fair to say that David Crosby does not hold Kanye West in particularly high regard. Accused by another Twitter user of “causing drama,” Crosby replied that he was “Not picking a fight. Just call ’em like I see ’em.”
