‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Star Kim Richards Reaches 30 Days Sober, Ex-Husband Speaks Out On Instagram

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards is reportedly in rehab and recently reached 30 days clean.

Earlier this year, after filming a dramatic season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Richards suffered an alcohol relapse and was later arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Following her dramatic arrest, during which Richards allegedly kicked a police officer, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star entered rehab.

“Kim checked into voluntary because she wanted to help herself, no intervention or told her too. I’m proud of her because she’s 38 days sober,” Richards’ ex-husband, Monty Brinson, recently confirmed, according to a July 10 report by Radar Online.

However, while the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is currently in rehab, it took a while to get her there. After her arrest, Richards checked into treatment but left two weeks later to attend her daughter’s wedding in Mexico. While she was believed to have had a deadline of the following Monday, she reportedly missed the deadline, choosing to stay out of the county and engaged in more drinking. Once she finally returned days later, Richards entered a second treatment, where she briefly received therapy. She then entered a third facility last month.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was rumored to have left her third rehab earlier this month, after she and Brinson were spotted spending time together over the 4th of July weekend. In photos shared by Reality Tea, Richards and Brinson posed with Brinson’s second wife, Terri Lynn Doss, and their daughter, Madelyn, and were seen kissing on the lips at one point.

Whether Richards is in rehab or not, she will likely be missing out on her niece Nicky Hilton’s wedding on Friday, which Brinson spoke of on social media this morning.

On July 10, Brinson shared the following message with his fans on Instagram.

“Today is a big day for you. Wish I could have been there with everyone to enjoy this special occasion in London. I’m glad after all these years you are about to marry your best friend, soul mate and the love of your life. It’s also a big day for your parents as I should know when I walked Brooke down the isle. May the years ahead be filled with lasting joy. Congratulations to a couple whose match truly seems made in heaven. Much love to you and your family.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 is currently in production.
