Beyonce’s Net Worth So High ‘I Don’t Have To Make Any More, Because I’m Set,’ Says Singer [Video]
Even though her vegan diet company is something of a farce (remember her snarfing cheeseburgers with Nicki Minaj?), Beyonce’s net worth is now so high that the singer says she doesn’t need to make any more money. How much is she worth? A cool $250 million, according to Forbes magazine.
“I have a lot of property. I’ve invested my money and I don’t have to make any more, because I’m set. I’m now able really to be free and just do things that make me happy,” Beyonce has said about her net worth, according to TheRichest.com.
And it’s true: In addition to her very successful singing career, Beyonce also has endorsement deals from General Mills, L’Oreal, and DirecTV, for starters. Her investments in clothing lines and her perfume line also added to her incredible net worth. And being married to entrepreneur Jay-Z doesn’t hurt.

Beyonce and power hubby Jay-Z recently purchased a new 13,000-square-foot mansion in New Orleans’ Garden District last May, after being outbid by Minecraft creator Markus Persson on an L.A. home the couple drooled over. Even though her massive net worth means “the woman with everything” doesn’t need more money, Beyonce and Jay-Z were outbid on the $70 million home – Markus Persson’s bid was worth the same amount, but he was able to sweeten his deal with a cash offer and a reported case of Dom Perignon champagne.
Beyonce and Jay-Z’s new home, just off the Mardi Gras parade route, was once a church in the 1920s before it was sold to a private party in the 1990s. The $2 million mansion features seven bedrooms, eight baths, and three separate apartments, according to Hollywood Take. Although Beyonce claims part of her net worth is because she owns expensive properties, it’s not expected the home will increase her net worth. It’s reported Beyonce wanted to move to New Orleans to be closer to her sister, and will use the mansion as a studio.
When asked about her nickname “the woman who has everything,” Beyonce had one response “I’ve worked very hard for it.”
Committed to ending poverty, Beyonce is using her massive public following to headline this year’s Global Citizen Festival (Jay-Z headlined last year) along with Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, and music icons Pearl Jam. The concert can be seen on television and online, including on YouTube and MSNBC.com, reports TheBoomBox.com.
“I am honored to be a part of the Global Citizen Festival,” Beyonce said in a press release. “It has always stood for improving the lives of people everywhere, but this year is especially rewarding as we all join focuses and utilize our talents for one goal: to end extreme poverty globally.”
Unlike Kim Kardashian though, who, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, has plenty of financial advice for millennials, Beyonce is staying mum about her net worth, preferring instead to do the “things that make me happy” — like fighting poverty.
