Ben Affleck Consigned To Jennifer Garner’s Guest House After Divorce
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are currently living in Garner’s $2 million Atlanta rental property. The couple had announced their plans to divorce after 10 years of marriage last week.
Jennifer Garner is currently shooting for her new film Miracles from Heaven in Atlanta. According to People magazine, she flew into the city on Sunday to begin production of the movie. Her new movie is an adaptation of a non-fiction book by Christy Wilson Beam.
It is the story of Beam’s chronically ill daughter who purportedly went to Heaven after falling unconscious. There, she got cured of her disease.
Jennifer brought along all three children to Atlanta, Samuel, 3, Seraphina, 6, and Violet, 9. A source revealed that the couple are completely dedicated to looking after their kids in a united fashion. The source said that the two “are hanging out and making sure the kids are taken care of. It’s actually quite amicable.”
Last week, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner had said, “We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children.” They also said that this was to be their only public comment on the matter.
Ben and Jennifer takes turns working and spending time devoted to their kids. On Wednesday, when Garner went to the set of her new movie, Affleck took the kids to Lovett School. The kids are participating in a summer camp at the school.
A source said that Affleck also has some work in Atlanta and plans to use moving labor helpers in resetlling there. However, the Argo star will be spending most of his time with the kids.
A source revealed to People magazine that Ben always wanted family and kids. The source said, “He didn’t grow up with a present father, so his biggest fear was being the dad that only saw his kids on the weekends.” The source added that this was Affleck’s greatest fear.
Several sources have mentioned that Garner was getting tired of Affleck’s behavior including infidelity. Affleck has denied allegations of infidelity. Their differences in lifestyle also contributed to the divorce.
One source said that Garner loved Affleck, but there comes a point when one has to say enough is enough.
Affleck had said that Garner takes on the “lion’s share” of family responsibilities. She chooses her projects in such a way that there is still ample time left for the kids.
The couple plans to have Affleck living on the same property in Brentwood even after the divorce.
