PewDiePie Announces New Book Amidst Income Controversy

YouTuber PewDiePie recently came under fire when his income of $7.45 million got publicized on the internet this week, a previous Inquisitr report writes. PewDiePie has already released a reaction video to the issue, and this hasn’t deterred PewDiePie from being himself and uploading game playthroughs and hilarious videos on YouTube.

One of his new videos reveal that PewDiePie is actually publishing a book this year. Entitled This Book Loves You, the new PewDiePie book will feature classic PewDiePie humor found in his videos. Tech Times report that This Book Loves You will be some sort of parody of the self-help industry, and will compile PewDiePie’s best moments and lines.

This Book Loves You by PewDiePie is already listed on Amazon for pre-order and will be available before October ends. The Amazon listing writes as follows.

“This Book Loves You by PewDiePie is a collection of beautifully illustrated inspirational sayings by which you should live your life. If you follow each and every one, your life will become easier, more fabulous, more rewarding. Imagine what a chilled-out and wonderful human being people would think you were if you lived by the simple principle “You can never fail if you never try.” Your wasted life would be an inspiration to others. Think of all the pointless, unhappy striving you could simply give up. Throw away that guitar! Give up on your dreams! Embrace your astounding mediocrity.”

If the Amazon blurb for the new PewDiePie book didn’t sell This Books Loves You enough, you can also watch the new video PewDiePie made to advertise his book below.

This Book Loves You by PewDiePie will be published by Razorbill, a subsidiary publishing house under Penguin Random House. President and publisher of Razorbill, Ben Shrank, shares that he is confident that PewDiePie’s new book will capture a huge audience.

“Razorbill and Penguin U.S. are excited to bring the words of PewDiePie to the American people in book form. And with more subscribers than Taylor Swift and One Direction combined, Felix Kjellberg [more popularly known as PewDiePie] is without question one of the most influential stars of this generation.”

It seems that PewDiePie’s latest book is inspired from the success of prior books by other YouTube stars, such as Shane Dawson’s essay collection entitled, I Hate My Selfie, and Mamrie Hart’s You Deserve a Drink.

Even though PewDiePie is immensely popular on YouTube, reports say that he is lacking presence in other social media sites. With This Book Loves You coming out on shelves this year, PewDiePie hopes that he is able to “reach his audience in a new way” with this effort.

This Book Loves You by PewDiePie is available on paperback and on Kindle, at $8.37 and $10.99 respectively. Amazon has already listed the book by PewDiePie for pre-order, and it will officially be released on October 20 this year.
