Vanessa Williams: Wedding Dress Revealed, Williams Looked Stunning
Vanessa Williams’s wedding dress has finally been revealed. It was reported by the Inquisitr that Vanessa Williams married her boyfriend of three years, Jim Skrip, on July 4, 2015. This wedding was the 52-year-old’s third. Instead of going the traditional route, Vanessa Williams opted for two wedding dresses to wear on her Independence Day wedding.

The newlyweds met while Vanessa and her daughter were on vacation in Egypt. Vanessa’s story about how the couple first met is adorable.
“He was wearing a Buffalo Sabres shirt, and I walked over to him and said, ‘Are you from Buffalo? My mom’s from Buffalo.’… There was an immediate attraction, and after a long, three-hour dinner, we had so much in common. It was obviously meant to be!”
Williams wanted to pay homage to Egypt when she was selecting her wedding dress. She spoke with People about the first dress that she saw.
“It was magnificent. I felt like an Egyptian goddess, and that was exactly the theme I was going for.”

She definitely looked like a goddess from the Nile. Her husband, Jim, was so taken aback by the beauty of his soon-to-be bride that he didn’t even notice the dress at first. When he did, it took his breath away.
“Honestly, when I saw Vanessa walking down the aisle, I didn’t even notice her dress. We locked eyes and I got caught up in the moment, full of happiness and joy. When I finally noticed the dress, it was perfect for Vanessa: sleek, simple and sexy. She then had another surprise for me: she did a quick change into another beautiful gown… She was stunning!”
Did Vanessa Williams “save the best for last?” Vanessa and Jim are both 52 years old and appear to be completely in love with each other. Pictures of Vanessa Willimas’ second wedding dress have not yet been released.
Williams was not the only celebrity to wed over the Independence Day weekend this year. Billy Joel married his fourth wife, Alexis Roderick, and Ashton Kutcher married Mila Kunis in a secret ceremony.
