Barbara Evans Isn’t A Fan Of Her Daughter’s Fiancé, Nathan Griffith: Watch The ‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 6 Preview [VIDEO]
Barbara Evans isn’t on good terms with her daughter Jenelle’s on-again, off-again fiancé, Nathan Griffith.
Since Jenelle began dating Griffith, the couple have engaged in a series of heated feuds, many of which have played out on Teen Mom 2, and others of which have resulted in arrests. Like any mother, Barbara Evans has grown concerned about her daughter’s seemingly unhealthy relationship, and feels it’s had a negative impact on Jenelle’s son, Jace, who Barbara Evans currently has full custody of.
On July 7, Perez Hilton shared a new sneak peek at Season 6 of the MTV reality show, which featured Barbara Evans speaking to her daughter about her fiancé, and how their fighting is impacting Jenelle’s son, 5-year-old Jace.
“Jace has been very bad at school. He was not listening, he’s been refusing to do his work. There’s kind of a pattern here that when he comes back from your house, he has had bad behavior at school, and he’s been wetting the bed.”
“Well, I don’t know why because he’s doing fine at my house,” Jenelle responds, insisting she and Griffith don’t yell in front of him.
As their conversation continued, Barbara Evans expressed her frustration in not getting to see much of Jenelle’s youngest son, Kaiser.
“You never want to drive. You complain about driving,” Jenelle explained. “I think you just need to set up a day where you come see the new house, and come visit Kaiser. Nathan will be fine with that idea.”
Barbara Evans doesn’t agree, and claims he will likely leave as soon as she gets there.
“He’s going to have to come to grips with me being your mother and try to get along with me.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jenelle and Barbara Evans have been at odds for years, but on Mother’s day this past May, Jenelle shared a heartfelt message with fans. Unfortunately, the message seemed to be a back-handed compliment towards Barbara Evans, hinting that her failure to express love in a healthy way has led to the strain in their relationship.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommys out there… My mom and myself have our ups and downs I kno she will always be there for me if I ever needed her, no matter how upset she is with me. I kno she loves me very much but has a hard way of showing it.”
