No sooner than news broke about Subway pitchman Jared Fogle being investigated for child pornography claims did Twitter seize the trend and start the jokes about the serious subject matter. According to Twitter, Jared already has nearly 100,000 tweets about the fact that Fogle’s home was raided, and many of those tweets aren’t just news reports and photos of the raid.

Some are using the news to write about all the Subway stuff that will have to change in light of Jared’s child porn probe by police. One such advertisement is one that pitches “Subway Kids,” telling parents they can bring their kids’ meal to life by allowing them to play “Jared’s Pants Dance game” and to watch cool videos.
What the hell, Jared

Others are merely using Twitter to express their outrage about the man whom they’ve come to see as the face of Subway, ever since Jared dropped from 450 pounds to around 190 pounds — all from walking to his local Subway and eating only their food for a time. Jared became the ultimate real-life success story for weight loss gained by healthy eating and increased activity.

But now, as reported by FOX 59 , it’s Jared and his Jared Foundation connections that are coming under fire — along with a former director, named Russell Taylor. The 43-year-old tried to kill himself in jail recently, and now faces 7 counts of producing child pornography.

Perhaps the horrific nature of seeing a supposed trustworthy figure being potentially involved in child pornography is what causes folks to take to Twitter to deal with the emotions such a shock can cause.
SPOILER! “Jared’s Journey” doesn’t end well, for him or @Subway . pic.twitter.com/8PHQXlQgMa

One particular image of Jared exiting a police truck is causing concern.

And the Dateline NBC Chris Hansen “To Catch a Predator” memes aren’t far behind on Twitter.

As reported by the Inquisitr , Jared was being detained outside his house as police served warrants.
