Bill Cosby’s Admission Revealed, Plied Women With Drugs For Sex
The Associated Press has reported that actor, comedian, and beloved TV dad Bill Cosby had previously admitted to drugging women he wanted to have sex with in a 2006 lawsuit. Court documents revealed that Cosby admitted to drugging at least one woman with Quaaludes.
Cosby’s lawyers objected to the release of the court documents, citing potential embarrassment to their client. Neither Cosby nor his lawyers responded to today’s disclosure.
The court documents released Monday were a part of a former Temple University employee’s lawsuit against Bill Cosby. During his testimony, Cosby reportedly fed the woman three and a half Benadryl pills. The lawsuit was quietly settled in 2006.
The swarm of allegations of sexual assault against the comedian began to surface in 2004, according to Entertainment Tonight, and the number of alleged victims stands at 32. Among Cosby’s alleged victims are actress Carla Ferrigno, wife of The Incredible Hulk star Lou Ferrigno, supermodel Beverly Johnson, and model Janice Dickinson who says she was raped by the actor.
“Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping his robe and getting on top of me. And I remember a lot of pain.”
Beverly Johnson wrote about her encounter with Bill Cosby in Vanity Fair.
“Now let me explain this: I was a top model during the 70s, a period when drugs flowed at parties and photo shoots like bottled water at a health spa. I’d had my fun and experimented with my fair share of mood enhancers. I knew by the second sip of the drink Cosby had given me that I’d been drugged – and drugged good.”
Law & Order: SVU’s Michelle Hurd is also counted among the growing list sexual abuse victims claiming Cosby had been “inappropriate” with her during her brief time on The Cosby Mysteries television show. Part of what Hurd now calls “red flags” was when Cosby would “move his hands up and down” her body during what he referred to as acting exercises.
One of Cosby’s first alleged victims, comedy writer Joan Tarshis, claims Bill Cosby raped her twice in 1969.
“I was sitting up writing one second, and the next second I was lying down on the couch having my underwear taken off.”
Due to statute of limitations, Bill Cosby has managed to avoid criminal prosecution for his alleged crimes. Cosby has continued to perform stand-up routines at venues across the country.
