Caitlyn Jenner Instagram: Caitlyn Posts Fourth Of July Message, ‘Free To Be Me’ In America
Caitlyn Jenner took to Instagram over the weekend to wish her fans and followers a happy Fourth Of July. According to the Huffington Post, the reality star posted a picture of the American flag, and shared an inspirational message about how proud she is to be an American. Perhaps the meaning of “freedom” on America’s birthday was felt even more this year, as Caitlyn is now living her life as a woman after living over 60 years as a man.

As you can see, thousands of people “liked” the post, and thousands commented on it, many is support of Caitlyn, and her life changes.
Caitlyn Jenner hasn’t clouded Instagram with very many posts since she joined about five weeks ago. She has really been focused on her own life, and has been meeting new people, and taking part in LGBTQ events from Los Angeles to New York.
According to Us Weekly, Caitlyn has been getting a lot of support from family and friends, and she has really embraced her new life. Her kids have definitely noticed a change in more than just her physical appearance, and that’s something really wonderful.
“Even my son, actually, Burt said that to me one time. He goes, ‘To be honest with you, I think Caitlyn is a lot better person than Bruce.’ And I really have to — I think he’s right, because Bruce always had to tell a lie, he was always living that lie, every day, he always had a secret from morning till night. Caitlyn doesn’t have any secrets,” Caitlyn said.
Caitlyn Jenner’s inspirational Instagram post is very meaningful for different reasons. Not only is she feeling a real sense of freedom and acceptance as an American, but she knows what it’s like to represent Team U.S.A. in the Olympics, which is also a big deal.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Caitlyn keeps those memories close, even if they occurred when she was living her life in a man’s body, lying to the world (as she says).
“As Bruce, Jenner became the 1970s symbol of patriotism after winning the gold medal in the Olympic decathlon. It was 1976, the bicentennial of America’s freedom from English reign, and Bruce Jenner’s feat was an example of the American triumph of spirit,” reports the Inquisitr.
Caitlyn Jenner has been a symbol for America her whole life — that hasn’t changed at all.
