Adam Lind Is Headed For Another Custody Battle, ‘Teen Mom 2’ Is Taking Taylor Halbur To Court
Adam Lind is seen fighting for visitation with his oldest daughter, Aubree, on the Season 6 trailer of Teen Mom 2, and according to a new report, he will soon embark on his second custody battle. As the season premiere of the MTV reality series looms, Adam Lind is reportedly taking Taylor Halbur, mother of his daughter, Paislee, to court.
“[Adam Lind] wants more time with Paislee and thinks as her father, he deserves that,” an insider told Radar Online on July 6. “He is planning to take Taylor to court.”
In March, as the site reported, Adam Lind appeared in front of a judge in Lincoln County in hopes of regaining unsupervised visits with Aubree, whose mom is Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea Houska, as well as the ability to drive with her in his car. However, he was denied the request because of his troubled past.
When Houska took the stand against Adam Lind, “she brought up his long history of arrests and allegations of steroid use,” which he denied.
Although Adam Lind was not granted his request for visitation, the judge on the case agreed to revisit the case in six months. Hours later, however, the reality star was arrested after failing to pay child support to Halbur.
As his six-month check-in nears, Radar Online‘s insider claims Adam Lind has gotten up-to-date with payments. Still, his multiple DUI charges may keep him from getting custody of his youngest child, Paislee.
“Adam has so much legal baggage, it’s unlikely he’ll get custody of Paislee.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Adam Lind is far from Houska’s mind, despite their ongoing custody battle. In an interview with MTV News earlier this month, Houska gushed over her new man, Cole DeBoer, who she began dating last summer.
“My relationship with Cole is completely different than past relationships. I’ve only had bad relationships — I mean, I’ve had one, really. And that was terrible. Everyone saw that play out.
He’s great with Aubree. Cole’s relationship with Aubree is so amazing to me because she’s never had like a positive male role model in her life. I mean, she’s had her grandpa. But as a father figure, he completely stepped up to take on that responsibility — more than I ever could have even imagined.”
