Kim Richards Says She Quit ‘RHOBH’

Kim Richards was reportedly fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ahead of its currently filming sixth season. However, according to a July 5 report by Radar Online, Kim Richards is telling friends it was her decision to leave the Bravo reality show.

“[Kim Richards] has been telling her friends in rehab that she was not fired from Real Housewives at all. Pretty much no one believes her. Some of the things that she says, she just seem like she is in such denial.”

Kim Richards was part of the original cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, along with her sister, Kyle, and remained a full-time housewife until Season 5. At the end of Season 5, Richards, who has struggled with addiction for the last several years, suffered an alcohol relapse, and on April 16, she was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

According to a Dr. Phil interview, which aired a week after the incident, Kim Richards had drank a glass of vodka at her daughter’s, Brooke Brinson’s, home before driving to the hotel, which was a favorite hangout of her late mother. Once on site, Richards indulged in more drinks, and was eventually asked to leave. When she refused, police were called and Richards was arrested.

“[Kim Richards] can paint it however she wants. She knows the truth.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kim Richards isn’t the only housewife who was rumored to have gotten the boot from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Her longtime friend, Brandi Glanville, has also lost her full-time role on the series. Last month, E! News confirmed Glanville wouldn’t be a part of the official cast of the show for Season 6.

Around the same time, TMZ claimed Glanville’s co-stars, not including Kim Richards, of course, were happy about her exit, as she’s been a nuisance on the show.

“She’s been difficult to work with and most of the girls don’t want to work with her anymore … The women don’t feel safe around Brandi because of her frequent erratic behavior.”

Although Glanville will not be seen on the show in a full-time role, she has said on Twitter that she will be returning to the show in a part-time position. As for Kim Richards, it is unclear whether or not she will be seen at all.

Kim Richards returns to court later this month to address charges of public intoxication, resisting arrest, and battery on an officer.
