What Is Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Real Job, & Will Her Final Two Guys Meet Her Family During Hometowns?
Wondering what Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe does for a living, and if her final two guys will meet her family? Kaitlyn, 30, has not shared any details of her personal life with her guys this season, making no mention of her life back home in Vancouver, or what her future goals are once she hands out her final rose.
Amidst the many changes taking place this season is order of the overnight and hometown dates. On Week 8 (July 8), Kaitlyn will go on overnight dates with her final three guys, and move on to hometown on Week 9 (July 13) with her two finalists. Will she talk about her job, her family, and her previous relationships during the overnights, or will she spend an entire episode trying to convince Shawn that sleeping with Nick was just part of the process?
According to Kaitlyn’s bio on ABC, she is a “dance instructor” — but there is no word on where she dances and who she teaches. When asked by one of his readers if Kaitlyn has a real job outside of starring on reality TV shows, even blogger Reality Steve was stumped.
“We really know nothing about Kaitlyn. And they’re right. We don’t. What exactly does she do? In watching her Periscope the other night, someone even asked her what her job was and she listed a bunch of things she HAS previously done – dance teacher, certified in some sort of workout training, and a couple other things. But as for what she does to earn a living right now as we speak? No idea.”
As with other Bachelor Nation leads, staying in the limelight is the norm, so a real job may not be necessary. The next logical step for Kaitlyn, who seems to have a background in dance, is to try to land a gig on Dancing with the Stars. After all, Chris Soules, who claims to love nothing but farming, went straight to DWTS after he proposed to Whitney, and is busy filming yet another reality show —Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition.
Spoilers indicate that Kaitlyn will meet the families of her final two guys on hometowns, but there is no mention that her family — whoever they are — will be there to meet her two potential husbands. Oddly enough, the hometown dates won’t be held in anyone’s hometown, with a previous report from the Inquisitr stating that the meet-ups with the guy’s families [spoilers] will be at a resort in Park City, Utah.
Perhaps viewers will finally get a chance to learn something about Kaitlyn when the final rose ceremony airs on July 27. It’s possible that her family was flown out to L.A. — where the finale was filmed — to meet the two guys who are rumored to propose to Kaitlyn. Then again, this season has been full of changes from the get-go, so viewers should expect the unexpected right through to the After the Final Rose special.
