Republican presidential candidate and business mogul Donald Trump has made moves against prominent persons and companies who have forsaken him.

Trump’s lawyer, Alan Garten, filed a $500 million lawsuit against Univision on June 30 after the Spanish language network voided its contract with Trump.

The network has refused to air the forthcoming Miss USA contest, as well as next year’s Miss Universe pageant.

And yesterday morning, Trump tweeted a message against Miss Universe Pauline Vega from Colombia, after she described Trump as unjust and hurtful in an Instagram post.

In his Twitter post, the presidential hopeful called Vega a hypocrite for commenting against him but holding on to her Miss Universe title.

In her post on Instagram, the Colombian titlist stated that she will consider cutting off her relationship with the Miss Universe Organization should they make statements against Latinos.

But as of now, Vega will hold on to her crown for she believes that the organization works independently of Donald Trump and the group has a long record of giving aid to countless communities and has partnered with several charity groups.

Meanwhile, Garten has filed suit against NBC for breaching the terms of their contract with the Miss Universe organization, which apparently, is jointly owned by Trump and NBC Universal.

For now, Trump’s camp hasn’t filed charges against NBC but has called the network “weak.”

Also, Garten has announced that they are still considering what to do about Macy’s after the chain of department stores discontinued selling Trump merchandise, which includes a clothing line and fragrances.

Meanwhile, other Latin personalities such as Ricky Martin, Shakira and Eva Longoria have also spoken out against Trump .

In the Huffington Post , TV personality and activist America Herrera wrote that Trump’s commentary about Mexicans were extremely rude and discriminating.

To those unaware, Trump talked about the Mexican migrants in his presidential kickoff speech.

In the speech, the Republican candidate described Mexicans as “rapists” and further said that they bring crime and drugs with them to the United States.

Aside from famous Latin personalities, South America pageant contestants have also denounced Trump and the Miss Universe beauty pageant.

Contest organizers from Panama, Mexico and Costa Rica declared that they will no longer send representatives to the prestigious beauty pageant.

The Miss Panama Organization and the Telemetro television channel declared that the decision is “message of solidarity” against Donald Trump.
