Andy Cohen Gives Teresa Giudice Update, Speaks About Joe Giudice Special

Will Teresa Giudice’s fans really see how her family is doing without her, via a TV special? In the latest Ask Andy segment, posted on Thursday, Andy Cohen’s assistant brought up the Us Weekly article stating that Joe Giudice, who was frequently shown on The Real Housewives of New Jersey alongside his wife, is filming a Bravo special with his four daughters while Teresa is in jail. When asked to confirm the special, Andy wouldn’t.

“I can’t because if they are, I have nothing to do with it.”

As for whether he has talked to Joe, Andy said he hasn’t but did say that he has been exchanging e-mails with Teresa. He provided a bit of an update as to how Teresa’s doing.

“No. I’ve been emailing with Teresa though. I think she’s doing as well as can be expected.”

In late June, Us Weekly reported that Joe Giudice worked out a deal with Bravo to film a one-hour special, with the possibility of more episodes to follow. The special, which they began filming for earlier in the month, will show Joe taking care of his four daughters, Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5, while Teresa Giudice is serving her 15-month prison sentence for fraud.

Joe told Us Weekly that the family’s days are hectic.

“Days go by quick. They go to school, they come back, they do their homework. Who’s gotta go here? Who’s gotta go there?”

Besides taking care of the home and kids, the special will also likely show Joe talking to the girls about their mom. Joe admitted to Us Weekly that the girls don’t deal well with their mom’s absence sometimes.

“They have their little breakdowns here and there. They’ll say, ‘Daddy, when’s she going to be out?’ Or ‘I miss Mommy.’ I just make sure to give them lots of love and a lot of kisses.”

While Andy Cohen won’t confirm the special, it seems that filming is definitely happening at the Giudice home. As the Inquisitr reported last week, a source said that a filming crew was seen filming at the home. When lunch time came, the crew went to a local restaurant and ordered a big meal.

Will Teresa Giudice’s fans also get to see her on The Real Housewives of New Jersey soon? On Sunday, NJ.com reported that the fate of the show is uncertain.

“Uncertain. Clearly the show is not airing in its regular summer-to-mid-fall rotation. Bravo was reportedly casting for new housewives earlier this year, and there have been other reports that taping will start later this year when Giudice is released into home confinement, but the network routinely does not confirm anything until taping is well underway. Joe Giudice has said he and Teresa would return for the right price.”
