Aging rocker and lover of the crossbow Ted Nugent will meet with the Presidents secret service on Thursday after he made comments in which he encouraged violence against President Obama and the rest of the democratic party.
During his comments Nugent said he will be “dead or in jail” if President Obama wins reelection which the Secret Service has taken to mean he would engage in some type of violent act against himself or possibly against the President.
Speaking to Glenn Beck on Wednesday Ted Nugent said that he planned to be as “polite and supportive as I possibly can be, which will be thoroughly,” during his Secret Service interview. While he says the interview will be met with a politie attitude Nugent goes on to claim:
“The bottom line is I’ve never threatened anybody’s life in my life. I don’t threaten, I don’t waste breath threatening. I just conduct myself as a dedicated ‘We the people’ activist.”
Instead apparently he just “wastes breath” spewing hateful comments against anyone who doesn’t believe in his close narrow-minded minded opinion. I fail to see the difference.
In any case Ted Nugent has never apologized for the comments he made during a National Rifle Association rally.
As least Mr. Nugent is smart enough to realize that the interview with the Secret Service is not a joke as he proclaimed:
“I’m not trying to diminish the seriousness of this, because if the Secret Service are doing it they are serious.”
Do you think Ted Nugent should apologize or just keep his mouth closed in the future when considering hateful comments?
