Teresa Giudice’s Husband And Family Continue Filming ‘RHONJ’ Spin-Off
Teresa Giudice’s husband, Joe Giudice, and her four daughters are busy filming their Real Housewives of New Jersey spin-off. On Thursday, All About the Tea reported that a camera crew was recently spotted filming at Joe and Teresa’s house.
A source told the website that the filming crew was seen taping at the couple’s house. The crew also patronized a local restaurant for lunch.
“The [RHONJ] crew was spotted in Montville and they have been taping at Teresa’s house…They came in for lunch at one of the restaurants we do business with and ordered [a] $178 lunch for the crew.”
Us Weekly reported that Joe began filming the Bravo special with his daughters in early June. According to a source, Joe was able to work out a deal for a one-hour special with the possibility of additional episodes, which presumably will be ordered if the first episode does well. The special focuses on Joe as “Mr. Mom,” taking care of his and Teresa’s four daughters, Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5, while Teresa serves out her prison term.
Joe told Us Weekly that daily life is very busy because of how packed the girls’ schedules are, filled with activities such as play dates, cheer practice, and soccer tournaments.
“Days go by quick. They go to school, they come back, they do their homework. Who’s gotta go here? Who’s gotta go there?”
Joe also talked about the girls trying to cope with their mom’s absence.
“They have their little breakdowns here and there. They’ll say, ‘Daddy, when’s she going to be out?’ Or ‘I miss Mommy.’ I just make sure to give them lots of love and a lot of kisses.”
Will Joe Giudice and his daughters also film themselves preparing for and dealing with his impending imprisonment? When Teresa Giudice finishes her prison sentence, which is expected to end in December, Joe will begin serving his 41-month sentence.
Perhaps the family will also film themselves reading Teresa’s prison diary? Teresa’s lawyer confirmed that Teresa has been keeping a diary in prison and will release a memoir when she gets out. On Thursday, Us Weekly published excerpts from the diary.
Teresa wrote about prison food and fights.
“January 26, Day 21
I went to lunch at 10:20. I had tater tots, a soy burger that was so gross and orange! I also had some potato salad. They feed us so much here. I’m going to have potatoes coming out of my ears pretty soon!February, Undated
There is a lady in here, she hit her roommate. The officers are up here now to evaluate the situation. She is a crazy lady who fights with everyone.”
Teresa also admitted to crying over her family.
“March 16, Day 70
I got an email from Gia. She got an award for perseverance. I started crying at the computer. I was so happy for her, and saying to myself, ‘That is my daughter.'”
The big question likely on many Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers’ minds is whether Teresa Giudice will return to the show upon her release. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Joe Giudice has said that the “numbers would have to be very big” for Teresa to return.
