Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson are two of three cast members who may not return for season 8 of the Real Housewives of New York . According to a July 2 report by OK! Magazine , the RHONY stars are the latest Housewives facing Bravo’s chopping block.
A source reveals to OK! that outside of Carole Radziwill sleeping with the ex-boyfriend of Luann de Lesseps’ niece, the reality star has not “done anything to make this season interesting.”
Although the fallout between Carole and the Countess over the relationship seemed as if it was going to be a central theme throughout the entirety of season 7, the feud seemed to fizzle soon after it started. Since then, the RHONY star has seemingly stayed above the fray for the rest of the season. With only two episodes remaining, sans the reunion special, it is not likely Radziwill will bring enough drama to save her apple.
Carole Radziwill joined the cast of Real Housewives of New York during season 5.
Radziwill is not the only New York Housewife rumored to be facing Bravo’s chopping block. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry , Heather Thomson may be on her way out as well.
“Producers have edited Heather to look like the villain this season, and once that happens it is a telltale sign that you are out.”
Thomson also joined the RHONY cast during season 5.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the current season may also be the last for Kristen Taekman allegedly due to her uninteresting storyline and fighting with Bethenny Frankel.
“Kristen will probably not be invited back to the show because she doesn’t fit in and her story line is stale. It [her rift with Frankel] will be the nail in Kristen’s coffin. Bethenny wants her off the show. She is now the anchor. Kristen is likely departing.”
Aside from her feud with Frankel, which was squashed as of Tuesday night’s episode, Taekman, too, has admittedly stayed out of the other Housewives’ drama this season. Kristen joined the Real Housewives of New York in season 6.
These RHONY casting changes are the latest in an apparent shakeup across the entire Housewives franchise, which has led to the departure of RHOBH’s Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards and RHOA’s NeNe Leakes and Claudia Jordan.
Bravo has yet to officially announce which RHONY cast members will return for another season.
The Real Housewives of New York airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
