Caitlyn Jenner Gets Style Inspiration From Kate Middleton, Possible Model For Victoria Beckham Line
The Duchess of Cambridge is a wearer of timeless and elegant fashion. She never fails to exude confidence and appeal while she greets onlookers and makes her royal appearances. It is no wonder that Caitlyn Jenner, who was formerly known as Bruce Jenner, seems to be getting her style inspiration from Kate Middleton.
In the past week, Jenner has worn a number of ensembles that are quite similar to outfits Middleton has been seen in over the past months. As International Business Times notes, the 65-year-old was “spotted wearing a similar style to what the Duchess of Cambridge wore during her Australian tour with Prince William and Prince George last year.” The reality star was garbed in a lovely DVF navy wrap dress, while Middleton wore a printed Issa wrap dress. From a navy wrap dress with sling-back sandals to a leopard print sheath, Caitlyn Jenner is definitely using Middleton as her style muse. And why not? Kate Middleton is one fashionable royal.
Jenner has gotten the attention of fans and onlookers for a number of reasons, but isn’t it refreshing that it’s due to her impeccable fashion selections that she is now in the spotlight. Even Victoria Beckham is taking notice, and has been reportedly in talks to sign Caitlyn on to model for her fashion line. Now Magazine UK communicates Beckham’s intentions by way of a source who spoke on the subject.
“She thinks [Caitlyn] looks absolutely stunning and wants to style her and even include her in an upcoming fashion campaign.”
The publication was keen to point out that Caitlyn, much like Kate, is a figure who emanates “chic, timeless and elegant” appeal which is complemented by a “glamorous style and Amazonian figure.”
Victoria, who has found great success with her women’s wear line, has reportedly been an enthusiastic fan of Caitlyn ever since Jenner tweeted out her Vanity Fair cover that unveiled her new appearance, as the source shared.
“Vic is a little bit obsessed by Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair shoot. Victoria has championed Caitlyn ever since she came out in an interview with Diane Sawyer.”
So Caitlyn Jenner is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with on the fashion scene, and interestingly enough, the former Olympic champion also draws inspiration from her own supermodel daughter, Kendall, her gorgeous daughter, Kylie, and her fashion-focused stepdaughters, Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney.
Us Weekly also shares that an additional figure Caitlyn Jenner seems to look to for style sense is Mindy Kaling, after she was seen is a similar short sequined and patterned skirt with zip up coat, which Kaling had been spotted outfitted in earlier.
