True Blood Star Anna Paquin Pregnant
The hottest vampires on screen just made a huge announcement. Sookie and Bill, I mean Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are expecting their first child. The True Blood couple made the announcement according to EW.com.
Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer met on set while filming True Blood in 2007. In 2010 Paquin and Moyer got married at a Malibu, California ceremony.
Stephen Moyer has two children from a previous marriage. This is Anna Paquin’s first marriage.
Anna Paquin is the second youngest Oscar winner in the history of the awards. She won it at age 11 for her role in “The Piano”. She has also won a Golden Globe for her role as Sookie on the hit HBO show “True Blood”.
Paquin is also known for her recurring roles in the X-men movies.
Anna Paquin caused a bit of a media stir a few years ago when she told the world she was openly bisexual.
She said of her lifestyle choice,
“Frankly no one had ever asked me about being bisexual before. There is a lot of prejudice against us but the more people talk about it, the less of a deal it will be. Who people choose to sleep with or spend their lives with shouldn’t matter, not that anyone particularly cares who I’m attracted to.”
True Blood has received wide critical acclaim and won several awards, including one Golden Globe and an Emmy. It is based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries by Charlaine Harris, detailing the co-existence of vampires and humans in Bon Temps, a fictional, small town in Louisiana. The series centers on the adventures of Sookie Stackhouse a telepathic waitress.
