Did Kaitlyn Bristowe Secretly Sleep With Shawn Booth Before Her Love-In With Nick Viall? [Spoilers]
Was Nick Viall the first guy to sleep with The Bachelorette Kaitlyn before the overnight dates, or did she secretly sleep with frontrunner Shawn Booth in an earlier episode? While Kaitlyn admits in an interview with TV Guide that she told the guys “who meant something to her” that she had sex with Nick, she never talked about her rumored night of passion with Shawn.
According to Hollywood Life, Kaitlyn’s one-on-one with Shawn in San Antonio (Episode 5) may have turned out to be more than a romantic kayaking and dinner date. After the cameras stopped rolling, they “couldn’t keep their hands off each other,” and Kaitlyn told the 28-year-old Nashville fitness instructor that she was in love with him. They allegedly hooked up in a hotel room that night.
“I don’t think it was a mistake, the decision I made, I think the timing probably wasn’t the best,” Kaitlyn tells E! when asked about having sex before the overnights.
There is speculation that Nick Viall was brought on the show because Kaitlyn was growing too close to Shawn early on in the season. Perhaps producers wanted a more dramatic story to play out, but it’s obvious that most of this season has been focused around Nick and Shawn.
Bachelorette Kaitlyn appears to have strong feelings for both guys, and that continues throughout the season. On Week 6, Shawn vented to one of the show’s producers, leaving many fans to wonder if his jealousy over Nick would force him to leave the show.
According to Reality Steve, that’s not going to happen, and his reaction is being “played up” to keep the viewers wondering if his final rose spoilers are correct.
“I can’t really believe much of Shawn’s reaction because obviously it’s being played up to more than it is since we know he’s engaged at the end. No, he’s not leaving the show.”
The bigger question is, did Kaitlyn really sleep with both Nick and Shawn before the overnights, or is this just unconfirmed reality TV gossip? While it’s possible, it’s evident that the show’s producers don’t want to reveal what really happened because the sex-with-Nick story is better for ratings.
The drama will continue on the overnight dates on Week 8 (July 6), and at that point it won’t matter who Kaitlyn slept with early on. Spoilers reveal that she has sex with her three final picks during her Fantasy Suite dates, so it’s obvious that Kaitlyn is making sure that the spark is there before she commits to anyone.
According to a previous report from the Inquisitr, Kaitlyn will be sporting a 3.5-carat Neil Lane engagement ring on the After the Final Rose special on July 27. Both of Kaitlyn’s final two guys are rumored to have proposed at the final rose ceremony, but only one guy can now call the 30-year-old dance instructor his future wife.
If spoilers are correct, fans will see Shawn Booth and Kaitlyn Bristowe get engaged on the season finale, and Nick will head back home and await his next reality TV role.
