Marcus Grodd & Lacy Faddoul: ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Couple Gets Married, Special To Air On ABC
Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul are married!
The couple, who met on ABC’s Bachelor In Paradise, got married in a secret ceremony that was taped by ABC, and a wedding special is set to air on the new season of the show.
According to Mail Online, Grodd and Faddoul got engaged last summer after meeting and falling in love on the show. Marcus had a ring in his pocket while filming, and cameras caught the couple’s engagement on the show’s season finale.
The two quietly planned their wedding, giving just a few details about what they wanted to do for their special day, and now the world knows that their ceremony has already happened!
Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul haven’t confirmed the news, but there have been subtle hints here and there about their nuptials. In fact, Lacy retweeted an article by the Inquisitr that pretty much confirmed that her wedding would be televised.
The two have plenty of experience with dating on television, so it seems only fitting that ABC would want their wedding on camera — and fans can’t wait.
“Marcus competed for the heart of Andi Dorfman on season 10 of ‘The Bachelorette,’ making it to the hometown dates before he was eliminated. Lacy on the other hand was eliminated by Juan Pablo Galavis on the first night of ‘The Bachelor’ season 18.”
Other Bachelor franchise couples who have had televised weddings are Sean and Catherine Lowe, Ashley and JP Rosenbaum, Jason and Molly Mesnick, and Trista and Ryan Sutter.
According to the Hollywood Gossip, this may have been the plan all along. In the winter, Grodd said that he and Faddoul really wanted to give back to the fans in any way they could.
“We actually really want to customize our wedding to contribute to the Bachelor Nation.”
The couple also said that a lot of former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars would be in attendance, and some would be in the wedding party. It is presumed that Clare Crawley and Michelle Money were bridesmaids, while Josh Murray was likely a groomsman.
Season 2 of Bachelor In Paradise premieres in August. It is unknown when Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul’s wedding will air, or how ABC plans to incorporate the special into the season. Will you be tuning in?
