Corey Simms Calls Out Leah Messer For Alleged Drug Problem In ‘Teen Mom 2’ Season Six Preview
Corey Simms and Leah Messer engaged in a heated debate during filming on the sixth season of Teen Mom 2.
Corey Simms was seen confronting Messer about her alleged addiction to prescription medication in the trailer. And now, new details about their encounter have been revealed.
“I’m gonna need help with the girls,” Messer tells Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, in a sneak peek clip of Teen Mom 2 season six, shared by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup on June 28. “I gotta do this, like, therapy. I guess, like, at a facility or something.”
Upon hearing Messer’s vague announcement, Corey Simms wants to know more about where exactly she’s going. Last month, amid filming on season six, Messer entered a rehab facility in Utah. However, when it comes to addressing possible drug use, sources have denied she has a problem, instead claiming she was there to get help for her issues of stress and depression.
“It’s nothing bad. I feel like me going there, I’m going to be able to be a better mom and be the best mom that I can be.”
Corey Simms’ wife, Miranda, then asks Messer if her acknowledgment of needing to become a “better mom” was her way of “owning up” to parental missteps, which she denied.
“I’m not gonna say I was a bad mom.”
According to Messer, Corey Simms’ first wife, her issues at home, likely with her now-ex-husband Jeremy Calvert, led to stress. Simms then asked Messer if she was taking something to help cope with her issues.
“We understand what you deal with. We’re saying is there something that you take to deal with that problem? … Can you look at me and Miranda in our eyes and tell us there is no drug problem?”
Messer immediately denies having an issue with drugs, but Corey Simms has his doubts.
“I think I know that there’s a drug problem and I think you’re afraid to tell me.”
Corey Simms went on to claim Messer has fabricated her alleged issues with stress and depression in an effort to distract him from her reported addiction to prescription medication. He then told her to stop “beating around the bush,” and threatened to take custody of their twin girls, Ali and Aleeah.
“As their father, I will do that I have to do.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Corey Simms is said to be planning to return to court in an effort to gain full custody of their twins. Earlier this month, Radar Online reported the news.
