Watch These Two Puppies Grow Up While Racing For Dinner In Adorable Time-Lapse Video
Two golden retriever brothers, Colby and Bleu, have been fascinating the internet for a week now – after Chris Cardinal, their owner, uploaded a time-lapse video of the two pups racing to eat their dinner.
The video shows the dogs racing from 11 weeks to 11 months as they round the corner of their kitchen to get to their waiting bowls.
Shortly after being posted, the video went viral, and in the space of 72 hours, there were over 7 million views on YouTube, with the numbers now nearing 10 million.
The puppies’ adorable dash to the kitchen does not change much over the course of the nine months of filming.
But, a sharp left turn that they encounter on the way seems to be one obstacle that’s never fully mastered by either pup. Whichever one ends up on the left side of the mad dash always runs the risk of possibly sliding right into the counter – and a few times he does.
In just a few seconds, viewers are able to watch the dogs grow from fuzzy-furred balls of energy to more grown up versions of themselves.
“It’s cool to see them develop right before your eyes,” said Cardinal. “You see them taking on this adult form, kinda taking the turn a little better each time.”
Cardinal stated that he made the decision to film the puppies for nostalgic reasons as they are only young once.
And his hope that others would find the video interesting has obviously been far exceeded – with the pups’ Instagram account (yes, they have an Instagram account) gaining thousands of followers.
Good news though, Cardinal reports that the fame hasn’t gone to the their heads.
