Another promotional still for AMC’s new series Fear the Walking Dead has just arrived. The image shows the core family members of Madison (Kim Dickens), Travis (Cliff Curtis), Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), and Nick (Frank Dillane).
The image depicts the blended family standing together next to a vehicle. Travis stands with little expression, but the other three seem to show various levels of something akin to concern, worry, or, perhaps, sadness. Interestingly enough they are standing in front of a sign reading “Sixth.” This is probably the signpost for Sixth Avenue, a street in LA. This street also runs parallel to Seventh Avenue, the street MacArthur Park is on. MacArthur Park is where many fans are speculating the promo video featuring the possible first zombie sighting for Fear the Walking Dead occurred. So the question is, was this new picture taken before or after the last promo video? Is that perhaps why everyone in this new picture looks concerned?
As well as this new image for Fear the Walking Dead , the Desert Sun gives us the name of the actor who played the student we saw in the promo video in which Madison counsels against trusting the internet over the authorities. Lincoln A. Castellanos is the name of the student Madison advises. As yet, his name still hasn’t been added to the IMDb page for Fear the Walking Dead . While we know Castellanos appears at some point probably early on in Season 1 of Fear the Walking Dead , there is no indication whether it will be a one off character appearance or not. Although many fans are already speculating his character may very well end up a zombie, since he is the character who seems to be well onto the seriousness of the outbreak before anyone else.
Lincoln A. Castellanos graduated from Indio High School. He attended drama class there and went on after high school to graduate from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. He is best known for his appearance in CBS’ The Mentalist .
So far, in the last week, we have seen promo videos featuring Madison, Travis, and Nick — perhaps we will see a trailer soon involving Alicia?
Fear the Walking Dead will premiere in August on AMC as a companion series to their juggernaut zombie series, The Walking Dead . With the San Diego Comic-Con in July, fans are anticipating a full starting date announcement then.
