Watch Karina Smirnoff Of ‘DWTS’ Dance With Steve Harvey Of ‘Celebrity Family Feud’
Karina Smirnoff is set to give Steve Harvey some of her ballroom expertise. The Dancing with the Stars pro appears Sunday night on Celebrity Family Feud. In a new preview, Karina comes out from behind the contestant table to do some footwork with the amicable host.
Karina preps her dance lesson by saying she heard Steve had some “moves.”
Harvey jokes, “Oh, you’re talking about a dance! I thought you had talked to my wife, I’m sorry!”
And then the two share a moment on the Celebrity Family Feud stage. Have a look at the preview, courtesy of People, below.
Karina is joined on Celebrity Family Feud by her Dancing with the Stars colleagues, Alison Holker, Sasha Farber, Witney Carson, and Anna Trebunskaya. They compete opposite cast members from the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise.

Smirnoff sat out Season 20 of Dancing with the Stars. She announced her decision in February, saying she had set her sights on new projects. She wrote a book on dating. She’s contributed some fitness moves to Women’s Running magazine. Last week, she was at the Sports Commentators’ Desk at the Millennium Dancesport Championships, along with DWTS veteran Tony Dovolani.
She also let her social media followers know that her short film Across Grace Alley is out there for her fans to see. The short film was produced by her one-time DWTS celebrity partner Ralph Macchio.
Woo Hoo! Guys, I’m so excited. @acrossGraceAlley is available on iTunes! @ralphmacchio @Ben_Hyland… https://t.co/O0kORbRT9u — Karina Smirnoff (@Karina_Smirnoff) June 19, 2015
Celebrity Family Feud debuted last Sunday to huge ratings, according to CarterMatt. In the preview clip above, Steve Harvey seems to enjoy his time with Karina, even going down for a dip.
Harvey showed off his own dance moves earlier this year when he interviewed Dancing with the Stars contestants — and eventual champions — Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy. He recommended the pair integrate a dance move Harvey called “The Roach.” Harvey demonstrated the move, which mimics the movement of squashing a bug.
.@iamValC I’m telling you! That’s the move you need to win #DWTS @DancingABC
