Bobbi Kristina Update: Lawsuit Portrays Nick Gordon As Liar Who Abused & Stole $11,000 From Bobby Brown’s Daughter

Bobbi Kristina Brown turned 22 in a hospital room, dependent on life support, where she had resided since January 31 after being found unconscious, face down in a bathtub, in the home she shared with Nick Gordon. After spending time in a long-term care facility, Bobbi Kristina now is in hospice care, surrounded by family members such as Bobby Brown, reported Entertainment Tonight.

With the deterioration of her condition, the move to hospice signifies the family’s awareness that the end is near. The Peachtree Christian Center has removed Bobbi Kristina from medication.

“The family is in serious shock,” said an insider. “They really thought something could be done to help her.”

Pat Houston (Bobbi Kristina’s aunt) also has been to the hospice facility to pray for the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby.

“It is no secret that Bobby does not get along with Whitney’s family. There’s a lot of deep animosity on both sides,” admitted a source. “But both Bobby and the Houstons have made the conscious decision that they love Krissy more than they dislike each other. They are truly working together right now and there is no discourse. They are on one accord.”

While Pat and Bobby are Bobbi Kristina’s co-guardians, it was her court-appointed conservator Bedelia Hargrove who filed a lawsuit directed at Nick Gordon that included charges of domestic abuse and theft, as the Inquisitr reported.

The civil lawsuit charges Gordon with battery, assault, and unjust enrichment.

Bobbi Kristina’s court-appointed conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, filed the claims that the domestic abuse experienced by the 22-year-old included dragging her by the hair, knocking out a tooth, and hitting her in the face.

“[Gordon] accessed Brown’s bank account(s) and stole in excess of $11,000,” charges the lawsuit.

Following up, the conservator expressed the implications of the lawsuit.

“No human being, male or female, should endure what Bobbi Kristina endured. Pat Houston and Bobby Brown have done all they can to take care of Bobbi Kristina since this terrible tragedy occurred. This lawsuit represents our collective efforts to get justice for Bobbi Kristina.”

A minimum of $10 million is sought.

Bobbi Kristina Brown Police Investigation Intensifies

In terms of Nick Gordon’s future, the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office is now in charge of the Bobbi Kristina Brown case, reported Us Weekly.

“The Roswell Police Department has forwarded its investigative file to our Office,” said Fulton County DA Paul L. Howard. “In view of the new circumstances regarding the health status of Bobbi Kristina Brown, we will be reviewing the case with greater interest. An announcement regarding a charging decision, if any, will be made at the appropriate time.”

But as Gordon hides out watching TV and looking on the internet in his Florida home, a relative is defending him, reported People.

“He feels – and we all feel – like Nick has been a scapegoat in this case,” said the Gordon insider. “It’s scary for him, because he hasn’t done anything wrong. He is completely innocent.”

Moreover, the relative contended that Nick isn’t trying to hide any domestic abuse against Bobbi Kristina or theft.

“He has always cooperated with police, and he has nothing to hide. Anyone who looks at the facts would see that,” claimed the source.

But the lawsuit means big trouble for Gordon, reported USA Today.

In addition to being banned from seeing his former girlfriend, Nick now is being sued prior to potential criminal charges because of the ease in making a case, said Atlanta estate-planning attorney Bruce Gaynes.

“The standard in a criminal court is higher than in a civil court,” explained Gaynes. “Also, it may be intended to keep him from screwing around with them — under the theory that the best defense is a good offense.”

Moreover, in terms of Nick’s future, his potential to be employed looks grim. The lawsuit portrays Gordon as an abuser as well as a thief and someone who lied to profit, reported 11 Alive.

While Nick claimed to be Bobbi Kristina’s surrogate brother before 2012, he then transformed himself into her boyfriend after she received substantial money from Whitney.

“[Gordon] perpetuated the fraud that he had married Brown, though in fact he never did so,” said the lawsuit.

In addition, Nick controlled Bobbi Kristina in multiple ways, from taking over her cell phone to demanding that she get his authorization before she could make an appointment.

“[Gordon] manipulated her bank relationship so that she could access her money,” says the lawsuit.

The domestic violence charges include hitting her in the face, dragging her by her hair, and punching Bobbi Kristina in the mouth, resulting in the loss of a tooth.
