Adam Levine Totally Okay With Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Flirting

Jennifer Love Hewittfelt the need to apologize last week after openly calling Adam Levine “hot.” Apparently, no apology was needed, Jennifer!

Yeah, in a startling development, it turns out men quite enjoy being described as “hot” by beautiful women. Whoda thunk? The newly single Levine told Access Hollywood he found Hewitt’s comments “very, very flattering,” yet added, “But I’m not going to let it get to my head.”

Hewitt’s compliment came during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week, where she noted she always has her “eyes out” for possible dates. “I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again,” a glint in the eye of the 33-year-old actress. “I’m just saying.”

“We would be cute!” she added after Ellen showed her a photo of the Maroon 5 frontman. Maroon 5, incidentally, are TERRIBLE. Sorry, drifted off-topic there.

Hewitt split from actor-director Alex Beh last year, while Levine broke up with Anne Vyalitsyna earlier this month. Perhaps because Levine’s split was so recent, Hewitt emerged a few days later to say:

“I feel like I should write [Adam] an apology letter on Twitter or something just to say I’m so sorry… I wasn’t thinking that it was gonna turn into this whole thing and I feel bad. [I was hoping that he would have said] thanks for at least thinking that he’s hot.”

Perhaps this is a future union!
