Claudia Jordan Speaks Out On ‘RHOA’ Future As Kim Fields Is Rumored To Be Her Replacement

Is Claudia Jordan really gone from The Real Housewives of Atlanta? According to her, viewers shouldn’t count her out just yet. On Wednesday, Claudia said that she also has a say in her future on the show.

In response to someone who asked her whether it’s true she’s really leaving the show, Claudia admitted that her role is up in the air. She said that she has some things to consider.

“Hmmm I don’t know yet. Lots of moving parts and decisions that need to be made on BOTH ends. I got some more things to consider now. Really important things.”

Yet two days earlier, Claudia was much more confident. When someone told Claudia that she’ll have bigger and better things coming, Claudia maintained that she’ll still be an Atlanta housewife.

“I’ll be a real housewife-trust.”

Last Saturday, right after TMZ reported that Claudia has been fired, Claudia posted a tweet from executive producer Andy Cohen maintaining that NeNe Leakes did not get Claudia fired in retaliation for feuding with her on the seventh season.

While NeNe may not have played a role in Claudia’s possible departure, NeNe has made clear that she wants the cast to change. In an interview with Us Weekly in April, NeNe, in a clear reference to Claudia, said that some people are too desperate to be on the show.

“I want to work with people who have some respect and some limitations… I would be happy to come back if we could find the right girls. If the show stays this way, I can’t see myself doing it… who wants to work in a stressful environment? [There are] people who come on the show… willing to do anything.”

Claudia’s feud with NeNe got her a lot of attention. In response to someone who wrote that Claudia had no storyline herself, Claudia said that she wasn’t given the chance to have a storyline. She pointed out that she was promoted to a starring housewife spot halfway through the season.

“Keep in mind I wasn’t ALLOWED to have a story line for most of filming. i started as Kenyas friend-then more than half way thru they gave me a peach so there was no filming time left to get my full story… simple math.”

According to TMZ, producers made the decision to drop Claudia Jordan last week, a decision that she didn’t see coming. The website further implied that she was dropped because she dared to fight with NeNe Leakes even though she was just a newcomer. As the Inquisitr reported, Claudia, instead of immediately denying the report, instead joked about moving to the Caribbean and getting Andy Cohen to start a new Real Housewives show for that region.

If Claudia Jordan really does leave the show, who will be her replacement? On Friday, Perez Hilton reported that actress Kim Fields, known for playing Tootie on The Facts of Life, is joining the cast.
