Bristol Palin Pregnant Again: Sarah Palin’s Daughter Announces Pregnancy ‘Disappointment,’ But Who Is Baby’s Dad? [Video]
Bristol Palin is pregnant again. Sarah Palin’s daughter announced her pregnancy with a blog, reported MSN.
“(I’m announcing this news a lot sooner than I ever expected due to the constant trolls who have nothing better to talk about!!!),” wrote the 24-year-old. “I wanted you guys to be the first to know that I am pregnant.”
But Bristol made it clear that her emotions are very different than with her first pregnancy.
“Honestly, I’ve been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one. At the end of the day there’s nothing I can’t do with God by my side, and I know I am fully capable of handling anything that is put in front of me with dignity and grace. Life moves on no matter what. So no matter how you feel, you get up, get dressed, show up, and never give up. When life gets tough, there is no other option but to get tougher.”
Palin was 18 when her son Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston was born in December 2008. when she was just 18-years-old. Prior to breaking up permanently in 2010, Bristol had two engagements to her son’s father, Levi Johnston.
Palin views her “I’m pregnant” announcement as disappointing.
“I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you,” admitted the young woman. “But please respect Tripp’s and my privacy during this time. I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy.”
In addition, Bristol emphasized that her family comes first, and that she holds onto her faith in God.
“My little family always has, and always will come first. Tripp, this new baby, and I will all be fine, because God is merciful.”
The baby’s father is not known. However, Palin cancelled her plans to marry Marine Dakota Meyer recently.
“I guess you have seen by now that the wedding—that was supposed to happen last weekend—was called off. I’m sure you’ve seen this has been all over the media, but this is a painful time for family and friends and I would just really appreciate your prayers,” asked Bristol. “I know God’s plan is greater than anything else, and Tripp and I are in Alaska beginning to rebuild our lives under much different circumstances than we anticipated.”
As the Inquisitr reported, Palin and former fiancee, Sgt. Dakota Meyer shared their love on social media prior to breaking up.
Meyer is a United States Marine veteran, who received the Medal of Honor in 2011 for his dedicated duty in Afghanistan, including saving the lives of other Marines. That makes him the third living recipient of the highest honor since Vietnam.
“Truly the luckiest girl in the world, cannot wait to marry this man!!!!” exclaimed Bristol in her post at the time.
Palin’s first pregnant announcement coincided with her mother’s 2008 vice presidential campaign, reported ABC News.
Described as an unwed teenage soon-to-be mother, Bristol raised questions about privacy among those campaigning. But the Palins were firm on their commitment to their daughter.
“As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support,” they said.
