Boston Bomber Tsarnaev To Face Knife-Wielding White Supremacists, Maniacal Screaming, And More In Super-Max Prison

Along with waiting to be put to death, convicted Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev reportedly has several other unpleasant things to look forward to once he is checked into the super-max federal correctional facility in Terre Haute, Indiana, a prison known as “Guantanamo North.”

Those things include violent white supremacists with histories of knifing and trying to murder other inmates, as well as “incessant screams,” reports the Daily Mail.

Boston Bomber Tsarnaev was handed down the death penalty Wednesday, his alleged apology to the Boston bombing victims and their families interpreted as being very disingenuous, and likely not leaving those families with much concern about the dangers Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will be facing in prison as he waits to be put to death.

The Federal Correctional Institute at Terre Haute, Indiana, is where Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh was put to death in 2001, and daily life in the prison is described as “violent and extremely secluded.”

Flippant Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev
Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will have a prison experience fraught with potential peril and unpleasantness as he waits to be put to death.

It is believed the Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will be housed in either the Special Confinement Unit — the SCU — the prison’s unit for death-row inmates, or Tsarnaev’s new digs will be in the Communications Management Unit — the CMU — where terrorists are detained.

The Aryan Brotherhood, a notorious white supremacy group, is believed to have ordered the killing of another SCU inmate, James H. Roane, Jr., 49, in 2012, while he was on death row. The attempted stabbing murder of Roane was carried out by Donald Fell, and though Roane was stabbed within inches of his life, he did survive the Aryan Brotherhood hit.

It has also been alleged that four prison guards allowed Roane to be attacked by the Aryan Brotherhood.

The description of what is to be Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s world, given by the “spiritual adviser” to the Terre Haute prison’s death row inmates, Sister Rita Clare Gerardot, paints a grim picture, reports the Business Insider.

“They are in a small cell by themselves. All their meals are pushed through a slot. There is no recreation, but they can go out of their cells three times a week into cages. Truthfully, I don’t know how they keep their sanity. They have to be persons of great strength of will to get up every day, and know they have no choices.”

While being beat up, or possibly murdered, by a fellow inmate will be a real danger for Tsarnaev, contact between the Boston Bomber and the other death row inmates will be extremely limited, and if there’s anyone that wants to visit Tsarnaev, a maximum of two outside visitors a month is all that’s allowed.

Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will be allowed 15-minutes worth of phone calls per week, but the Boston Bomber will only be able to speak English during any of those pending conversations.
