Notorious B.I.G. Life After Death
Notorious B.I.G., affectionately called “Biggie” by his fans, was murdered in Los Angeles, March 9, 1997. The mystery behind his death is still hard to uncover. After several years of the death of the great American rap artist, there has been a lot of speculation about events leading to his death.
According to a related Inquisitr article, Notorious B.I.G., was a quiet, humble, rapper. Indeed, he still lives on in the hearts and minds of those who were inspired by his music. He was really loved in his neighborhood. His funeral was a massive event. When someone puts on “Hypnotised,” one of his hits, the whole place erupted. The question is, was there another darker side to Biggie? He had the reputation of a top drug dealer, but a closer look at him in his neighborhood proves otherwise. Those who knew him said he was a sweetheart and that he couldn’t kill anyone.
One of the most famous theories was about his friendship with the late 2Pac who was shot six months earlier as a result of a fight between the two of them. They were two good friends that had a misunderstanding, a falling out and they became two great enemies. According to an article by Rolling Stone, a detective in Los Angeles believes the L.A.P.D was involved in Notorious B.I.G’s murder and this led to several court trials. He said no ordinary gang banger could do this and get away with it. Only cops can do it and get away with it, he said over a radio interview.
‘Notorious B.I.G, aka Christopher Wallace, grew up in Brooklyn. According to sources he was very close to his mother. In an interview Biggie talked about growing up.
“I have been through so much, my mother has been through so much, it feels good to just have her at ease. Knowing his son is cool and not in the streets doing no wrong, he is trying to make it happen. I got to stay on the positive vibe, all my people got to stay on the positive vibe. Negativity just brings failure, And we are not trying to fail in this game. We are trying to succeed.”
According Voletta Wallace, Biggie’s mother, the dispute between 2pac and Notorious B.I.G was ignited by a dispute between East Coast and West Coast which consequently led to the death of two friends.
According to Rolling Stone, the actual contract that Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace signed when he joined up with Sean “Puffy Daddy” Combs’ Bad Boy Records in 1994, has hit auction site Paddle8.
Even after his death, Notorious B.I.G. still lives on.
