Bobbi Kristina Abused By Nick Gordon: Lawsuit Timeline Shows Abuse, Theft As Bobby Brown Moves Her To Hospice [Video]
Bobbi Kristina Brown may have been abused by boyfriend Nick Gordon. A lawsuit charges that before Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in the home she shared with Gordon, Nick abused the 22-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston. Now, as Bobbi Kristina lies in hospice, where she was recently moved, Gordon finds himself facing charges that he also stole money from her as she was in a coma, reported the New York Daily News.
The tragedy began on January 31 when Bobbi Kristina was discovered face down in a bathtub. She spent time in a hospital, followed by a long-term care facility. But now, said her aunt Pat Houston, the family has accepted that the death of the beautiful young girl known among her family as “Krissi” is soon.
“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate,” said Pat. “As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.”
The civil lawsuit charges Gordon with battery, assault, and unjust enrichment.
Bobbi Kristina’s court-appointed conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, filed the claims that the domestic abuse experienced by the 22-year-old included dragging her by the hair, knocking out a tooth, and hitting her in the face.
“[Gordon] accessed Brown’s bank account(s) and stole in excess of $11,000,” charges the lawsuit.
Following up, the conservator expressed the implications of the lawsuit.
“No human being, male or female, should endure what Bobbi Kristina endured. Pat Houston and Bobby Brown have done all they can to take care of Bobbi Kristina since this terrible tragedy occurred. This lawsuit represents our collective efforts to get justice for Bobbi Kristina.”
A minimum of $10 million is sought.
But the lawsuit stating that Bobbi Kristina was abused also reveals a timeline for what happened just before January 31, reported Extra.
“Just prior to Jan. 31, Brown had confided to someone that Defendant was not the man she thought he was and set up a time on Jan. 31 to meet with this person to further discuss this revelation. Brown, however, never made it to the meeting. Instead, on the morning of Jan. 31, Brown became embroiled in a loud argument with Defendant at her townhome. The loud argument ended and Brown was later found unresponsive and unconscious, face down in a bathtub, with her mouth swollen and another tooth knocked out.”
Consequently, concludes the lawsuit, Bobbi Kristina suffered such extreme abuse that Gordon is viewed as linked to her current health crisis.
“As a direct and proximate result of Defendant’s conduct, Brown has suffered life threatening bodily harm and damages…including loss of teeth, pain and suffering, and trauma that has required medical treatment as a direct consequence of Defendant’s physical abuse,” says the lawsuit.
As for the investigation by police into Bobbi Kristina’s abuse, the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office is now responsible for the case, reported Us Weekly.
“The Roswell Police Department has forwarded its investigative file to our Office,” said Fulton County DA Paul L. Howard, Jr. “In view of the new circumstances regarding the health status of Bobbi Kristina Brown, we will be reviewing the case with greater interest. An announcement regarding a charging decision, if any, will be made at the appropriate time.”
As the Inquisitr reported, amid the allegations that Bobbi Kristina was abused and the final move to hospice, some members of Whitney and Bobby’s family are not giving up hope.
“She is still alive and her heart is beating so there’s hope,” said an insider. “God can perform a miracle.”
