Blake Lively’s Innocent Father’s Day Photo Of Ryan Reynolds With Baby Girl Causes An Instant Uproar

It looks like Blake Lively is finding out just what the perils are of posting a sweet innocent Instagram photo these days. She shared a special Father’s Day message to her husband, Ryan Reynolds, along with a photo of him and their 6-month old daughter, James. He was holding her close to his chest in a carrier during what looked like a hike they may have been on.

Unfortunately, the whole thing has now turned into an ugly controversy on the way the actor was carrying his baby girl. The New York Daily News reported that ever since the cute snapshot was posted, the couple has been getting a lot of flak from parents who insist that this is not the correct way of carrying this baby.

Many fans were oohing and awing over the sexy daddy having a special moment with his child. Who wouldn’t think that this is sweet? It was also funny the way Blake Lively wrote the message.

“Happy Father’s Day!!!…@vancityreynolds Since the day our baby was born, I’ve felt so strongly in my heart that you were most likely the father. #ILoveYouSoMuchItsSilly.”

However, other people seemed to ruin the moment as they outwardly expressed their concern for the way the baby was put in the carrier. Many of the posts indicated that the 38-year-old dad should have read the instruction manual before placing his and Lively’s daughter in it. They deemed her position dangerous, saying that her little head should be above the carrier so she can breathe properly. Some even indicated that she looked like she was suffocating.

In addition, her small legs seemed to be positioned wrongly as, according to doctor recommendations, the baby’s legs should be spread apart, not so close together, as this could possibly cause hip dysplasia.

Blake Lively’s hubby is not the only celebrity to have gotten this much heat about their child improperly placed in a baby carrier. Back in April, Inquisitr reported that 19 Kids and Counting star, Jill Duggar Dillard, also got into trouble with fans as they thought she had baby Israel placed wrongly in his carrier as well. The reality star was promptly schooled in the art of safely carrying her firstborn in the sling-style carrier.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are one of the cutest couples in Hollywood. It is doubtful that they will let this controversy bother them too much. They are first-time parents who will learn new things along the way. Whether their fans think that they put their daughter in danger or not, you have to admit that they seem to be doing a great job parenting this little one.

Blake has not shown her baby girl’s face to the public just yet. She and her husband are keeping their family life private for now, except for a couple of photos like this one. This may just be the last one they share for a while. Despite all of the ruckus surrounding this photo, it was a sweet gesture that Blake honored her husband’s first Father’s Day in this way.
