Richard Gere, 65, Alejandra Silva, 32, Prove Gere Can’t Resist ‘Pretty Woman’ After Two Failed Marriages [Video]

Richard Gere, 65, and Alejandra Silva, 32 (33 years younger), are demonstrating that Richard still loves a Pretty Woman. Gere’s new girlfriend is a Spanish socialite, and Alejandra is 32 to the actor’s 65 years, reported MSN.

Silva chose a bikini in hues of lavender to cavort in the sea after they partied on their yacht. Richard and his new gal pal have been cozying up in the oceans off Italy.

Gere and Alejandra have been together for about a year, and a friend of Silva’s said they’re trying to avoid too much publicity for their blossoming relationship.

“They’ve been together for about a year but have been very private about it. Alejandra lives between Manhattan and Madrid and Richard has already been to see her a few times,” said the insider.

However, when Gere and Silva attended the Taormina annual Film Festival this month, the romantic news was out.

“They’ve managed to keep it hidden from the press but all their friends know,” added the insider.

As for other relationships, Alejandra has a little boy. Gere is in the midst of divorcing second wife Carey Lowell.

As the Inquisitr reported, Gere’s divorce may total $100 million.

Lowell, known for her role in Law & Order, is represented by attorney Robert Cohen, who emphasized that money is the key to settling the drawn-out divorce.

“We had a nice chat with the judge. We’re moving along. It’s all about money,” declared Cohen.

In contrast, Gere’s lawyer, David Aronson, had no comments.

The soon-to-be-divorced duo have a 15-year-old son named Homer.

But Richard isn’t fretting about that, as he becomes increasingly enamored of Alejandra, reported Us Weekly. Gere and Silva visited the 61st Annual Taormina Film Festival in Taormina, Sicily, so he could be presented with an award.

The new couples also showed up together at the Shiseido and Vanity Fair Gala Dinner. Other stars on hand for the film festival were Patricia Arquette, Ellen Pompeo, and Rupert Everett.

But no one’s interested in taking bets on how long Gere and Silva will stay together. Most recently, Richard was rumored to be with Padma Lakshmi of Top Chef fame.

In addition to Carey Lowell, Richard previously was married to Cindy Crawford.

Gere and Crawford were married only four years, reported the Daily Mail.

Cindy now blames the failure of their marriage on the gap in their ages. Richard was 42, while Crawford was 25.

“I just think your twenties, for women, is such a time when you’re starting to come into your own and feel your own power and connect to your inner strength,” said the supermodel.
