Taylor and Laura Talk About Their ‘Orange Is The New Black’ Steamy Moments

The third season of Orange is the New Black has been doing very well since its premiere early this month and Orange is the New Black fans the world over are exponentially increasing in number—especially with new Orange is the New Black cast addition, Ruby Rose.

But taking the spotlight off Ruby Rose for a moment, Orange is the New Black regulars Taylor Schilling and Laura Prepon are having their fair share of the buzz, especially with their love scene wilder and hotter than previous OITNB seasons.

Orange is the New Blackcast members talk to Cosmopolitan about Orange is the New Black characters Alex Vause and Piper Chapman’s raunchy love scene in season 3 and the interview reveals how comfortable Taylor and Laura has become in terms of doing their love scenes and talking about it. Laura shares how she has personally found their hate-love scene in Orange is the New Black season 3 a challenge.

When you’re doing a love scene, especially a hate-love scene where you’re beating each other up and making love, that’s an interesting dynamic! Those scenes are always so technical, especially where we’re beating each other up.”

In Orange is the New Black season 3, Alex Vause returns to Litchfield, causing tension between her and Piper—and the tension isn’t all positive, knowing the complex relationship between the two. This results in a raunchy but hot library scene between the two in one episode in OITNB season 3.

In the interview with the Orange is the New Black cast, Laura and Taylor reveals that an injury occurs during their taping, leaving Laura with a bruise across the face. Inquisitr reports that during the filming of their scene in Orange is the New Black season 3, Taylor’s prison tag gets caught and bruises her on the face. The filming had to stop to take care of Taylor’s injury.

It is interesting to note, however, how different Orange is the New Black’s Taylor and Laura reacted to the pressing questions by Cosmopolitan. Prepon, sitting beside another Orange is the New Black member Laverne Cox, laughs about her crazy love scene with Schilling at the library, commenting on Taylor’s injury.

We were laughing about it. Doing a sex scene where your tag cuts your face is kind of funny.”

Taylor, on the other hand, was more embarrassed to talk about it, and she is seen hiding her face behind her hands and struggling with her words. Uzo Aduba would complete her sentences for her in the interview with the Orange is the New Black cast.

I’m noticing this thing where I do it and I think, ‘Ooh, wow! That was kind of wild!’ Then I [talk about it] and it’s a whole other experience to prepare yourself for. I don’t know how to deal with that part of it.”

But it seems both Taylor and Laura are starting to get very comfortable with each other, especially regarding the numerous love scenes that they have to do together for Orange is the New Black. But with season 4 coming for Orange is the New Black, Taylor would have to learn how to be more comfortable about talking about their love scenes since surely, OITNB fans will be expecting more of these in the upcoming seasons.
