Keira Knightley Cozies Up To Hubby James Righton In Adorable PDA Since The Birth of Their First Child
Keira Knightley and her husband looked like any other love-struck couple as they were spotted in their first-ever public display of affection (PDA) since welcoming their first child, a girl.
Attending the British Summertime Festival in London’s Hyde Park on Saturday, Keira Knightley and her hubby, James Righton, seemed to enjoy their time without the burden of parenthood and cozied up to each other as light rains lashed the park. This is the couple’s first public appearance since welcoming their baby girl last month. Keira has so far revealed nothing about their baby girl, except the gender.
It appeared the couple was ill-equipped to manage the unpredictable and often dreary London weather. Hence, when light showers made their appearance, the English musician had to shield Knightley with a jacket. However, the duo seemed to enjoy the close proximity very much, as the two openly cuddled up to each other, sharing kisses in between the event’s musical performances.
Though it was supposed to be all sun-kissed skies, the weather did play spoilsport. However, notwithstanding the gloomy overcast sky, Keira Knightley and James Righton made quite a picture-perfect couple, and they surely didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits, despite lightly soaking them as they enjoyed the event.
Keira Knightley’s pregnancy has been one hot topic that eventually led her to go candid on The Ellen Degeneres Show. She jokingly confessed to Ellen about her strict restrictions on anything alcoholic, while her husband and soon-to-be-a-father James was quite open to a drink or two.
“My husband’s having a great time. I’m eating for two and he’s drinking for two. There’s a lot of free champagne [at award shows], so he thinks because I’m not drinking the free champagne, he has to.”
Knightley even confessed to badgering the family physician on the issue.
“When can I drink? Please? I just want a margarita!”
Interestingly, Keira also revealed that she always wanted a little girl, but had a bizarre reason for rooting for the feminine gender.
“Somebody said to me the other day, the problem with boys is – sorry, this is horrible – but when you’re changing their nappies, you can get the wee in your face.”
Despite undergoing a healthy pregnancy, Keira Knightley appeared to have regained her silhouette of a figure at the event as she snuggled up to her husband. Her fans must be eagerly waiting to see her on screen. Everest, which is slated to hit the cinema screens on September 18, features Keira as an expedition member who happens to be pregnant.
