Claudia Jordan Reportedly Fired From The ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ After Only One Season
Claudia Jordan seems to be the latest casualty in a shakeup of the Housewives franchise. The Real Housewives of Atlanta newcomer has reportedly been fired after only one season on the show.
Bravo producers allegedly fired the RHOA newcomer earlier this week. According to a June 20 report by TMZ, the decision to fire Claudia Jordan may have had something to do with her frequently butting heads with NeNe Leakes during Season 7.

News of the firing took the TV/radio host by surprise. When fans reached out to Claudia on Twitter to ask if the rumor is true, Jordon said she had no idea she has been axed from the show.
Claudia Jordan made a name for herself during the seventh season of the show by taking on NeNe Leakes, something which the self-proclaimed Queen Bee was not happy with. After Season 7 ended, Leakes was vocal about the cast changes she felt producers needed to make, as the Inquisitr previously reported. According to Leakes, there should be fewer single women on the show, implying Jordan was a cast member who needed to go.
“The show IS called Housewives, isn’t it? So you need to be married to be on the show. I think that over the years the show has become very negative and there has been some people thrown in the mix that come negative and made the show negative, so I think they should recast. I don’t mind if there’s one girl, maybe two girls, that aren’t married because it’s always great to see a single girl like dating and all that kind of stuff. But to have as many girls as we have on our show that aren’t married, I think we need to get rid of a couple.”
It has yet to be determined whether producers will ask Claudia to make guest appearances during Season 8.
Bravo has not officially announced who will be returning for the eighth season of the show. While the fates of Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, and Porsha Williams are still unknown, NeNe Leakes reportedly will return for another season, as producers offered the longtime Housewife more money and a spin-off with ex-cast mate Kim Zolciak.
This RHOA casting change is the latest in a recent Housewives franchise shakeup. News of Claudia Jordan’s firing comes just days after reports surfaced that Brandi Glanville, Kim Richards, and Yolanda Foster will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 is set to begin filming next month.
