Dave Grohl and Prince Harry enjoyed a royal lunch. The magnificent meal occurred after Dave broke his leg. The Foo Fighters rocker also suffered other injuries from his on-stage fall, reported Contact Music .
The injuries occurred while Grohl was performing in Sweden, resulting in such severe fractures that the Foo Fighters frontman had to be taken to London for medical attention. And that conveniently put Dave in the same city as Prince Harry.
The British royalty and the rock singer became pals after Prince Harry rocked out during a Foo Fighters concert a few years ago. Concerned about his pal, Harry therefore decided to show he cared by taking him to lunch at the gorgeous Grosvenor House in London.
As for what happens next to Dave, Grohl already promised his fans that he’ll return, reported the Telegraph .
Even as he fell 12 feet from the stage into the pit, the Foo Fighters rocker shocked his fellow musicians and the audience by his announcement.
“I think I just broke my leg!” screamed Dave. “I’m going to fix my leg and then I’m going to come back.”

However, although Grohl actually did perform while emergency medical technicians administered to him, the X-ray made the reality of the situation all too grim to the rocker.
“I may not be able to walk or run,” Prince Harry’s pal initially said, “but I can still play guitar and scream.”
And then he viewed the X-ray displaying a broken fibula.
“When we finally saw the extent of the damage, that’s when s— got real,” admitted Dave.
During the operation in London, Dave had six metal screws placed in his leg. Although Grohl begged to continue, his physicians warned that taking on the stressful performances that the Foo Fighters had planned could result in complications and infections that could lengthen his recovery process.
As a result, the band’s European shows for 2015 have been cancelled.
“I’m really so sorry, guys. You know I hate to do it, but I’m afraid it’s just not physically possible for me at the moment,” said Dave.
Grohl, however, apparently did find some consolation by dining with Prince Harry.
And perhaps the Foo Fighters frontman can also get some advice from Britney Spears . As the Inquisitr reported, Britney recently injured her ankle so severely during her act that a doctor insisted that the pop singer cancel two of her popular Las Vegas shows.
Spears also had to cancel several of her shows based on her doctor’s advice.
“Britney injured her ankle during her performance Wednesday evening and her doctor has advised her not to perform Friday and Saturday evening so that she may heal,” stated Caesars Palace.
