Justin Bieber Twitter Account Calls Taylor Swift ‘Great,’ Offers To ‘Make Things Right’ & Sing Together
The Justin Bieber Twitter account posted a message praising Taylor Swift on Thursday.
In addition, the account also stated that the Canadian superstar would like to “make things right” with Swift and perform with her again.
The surprising tweet followed a same-day Billboard report with the headline “Taylor Swift No. 1 on Billboard Artist 100, Justin Bieber Hits New Peak.” That report was then tweeted by the Billboard Twitter account.
In a later response, the Justin Bieber Twitter account replied to Billboard’s tweet, writing, “@billboard. She is great. Might be time to make things right and hit the stage together again ).”

The reach out to Taylor Swift from the Justin Bieber Twitter account is unexpected for two reasons. First, it’s been a while since Swift and Bieber performed together.
The last time was August 23, 2011, when Bieber joined Swift onstage at her concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles as her surprise guest on her Speak Now tour. The pair then performed “Baby” together.
The duo also sang together in 2009, and Bieber famously pranked Swift on an episode of MTV’s Punk’d in 2012.
Since then, Bieber and Swift’s friendship evidently cooled over Justin’s on-again and off-again relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, who Taylor is friends with.
Swift’s hostility to Bieber was seen when she was caught making a disgusted reaction to the sight of Justin and Selena kissing backstage at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards.
Numerous gossip sites have delighted in making increasingly sensationalized claims about the nature of Swift’s and Bieber’s feelings toward each other. But apart from that infamous Billboard Music Awards incident, neither artist has ever commented on the chatter or their estrangement — until Thursday.
Clearly, the “might be time to make things right” wording in the tweet shared by the Justin Bieber Twitter account indicates Bieber and Swift are not friends.
But is the ice thawing now that Bieber and Gomez appear to be getting along? The former Jelena ran into each other at a church social last month. The ex-couple were seen smiling and having fun in a Snapchat story posted by mutual pal Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr.
According to sources contacted by the Inquisitr, Bieber isn’t the only person who posts on his Twitter account. Because of this, all references to the Swift-related tweet in this report make a distinction between Bieber and posts shared by the Justin Bieber Twitter account.
As yet, there has been no response by Swift to the aforementioned tweet. The “Shake It Off” songstress is currently in Europe moving through dates on her 1989 tour.
