Marcus Grodd, Lacy Faddoul Update: ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Wedding Reportedly On The Way
Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul fell in love last summer on Bachelor in Paradise, and they even got engaged in the finale. Over the winter, they said they were working toward a wedding date, but fans have mostly been left hanging since then. Are Marcus and Lacy still together? Is there a wedding on the way?
Though Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul haven’t shared too much lately in the way of specifics, there are hints that a wedding may be coming soon. Lacy shared a photo on Instagram detailing that she’s working out and getting ready for wedding season. When one follower commented that she wished ABC would televise the wedding, Lacy teased that people should stay tuned.
Lacy and Marcus also recently had their engagement photos taken, another sign that things are going well and that the two are moving forward on plans to marry. According to an insider at the Bach and Bachette Fan Forum, Marcus and Lacy are definitely moving toward their wedding day.
While Grodd and Faddoul haven’t shared anything publicly yet, sources indicate that they likely will wed within the next couple of months or so, a timeline that fits with the update they shared last winter. Could it be a destination wedding in Mexico, where Bachelor in Paradise is filming, with some ABC involvement? Apparently, that concept is being discussed, but it doesn’t sound as if anything has been formalized yet.
The network didn’t air Desiree Hartsock’s wedding to Chris Siegfried last winter, nor did it do anything for Holly Durst’s wedding to Blake Julian after they fell in love on Bachelor Pad. However, fans could see how it might be easy for the Bachelor in Paradise couple and the network to coordinate a wedding that is featured to an extent on the show, but perhaps not a full-blown extravaganza like what has been done with Sean and Catherine Lowe, Ashley and JP Rosenbaum, Jason and Molly Mesnick, and Trista and Ryan Sutter.
It seems that whether there’s ABC involvement or not, Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul are aiming to get married relatively soon. There were a fair number of Bachelor in Paradise, Bachelor, and Bachelorette fans who would have bet against this duo, but they certainly seem to be proving their doubters wrong.
Both Michelle Money and Cody Sattler, along with Marcus and Lacy, left Season 1 of Bachelor in Paradise happy and in love. While Michelle and Cody split, some have wondered if they are now giving their love another try. On the other hand, Marcus and Lacy seemingly have had a pretty smooth journey as a couple who may well soon wed.
Stay tuned for more details on Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul’s wedding as the plans come together. Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise premieres in August, and fans can’t wait to see how all of the drama plays out.
