Beverly Hills’ Brandi Glanville Fired Over ‘Bad Blood,’ Won’t Return To ‘RHOBH’ As Official Housewife
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 cast will not include Brandi Glanville, multiple sources confirm. Although the network hasn’t yet released an official statement in regard to the somewhat shocking news, E! News, which is owned by the same parent company as Bravo, released a statement on June 18, announcing Glanville will no longer be involved with the show in a full-time role, and may choose to leave the series entirely in the coming weeks.
“Brandi Glanville will not return to the series as a full-time Housewife.”
According to E! News‘ announcement, it was the network’s decision to fire Glanville from her full-time role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and was done because of the “bad blood” between Glanville and her Beverly Hills co-stars.
“Brandi is upset, but she understands and is grateful for the opportunity to be on the show.”
E! News also released an update on Kim Richards, who has also been booted from her full-time role on the Beverly Hills-based reality show.
“Kim is fine with not returning. She knows she needs to focus on her health right now. She’s doing well. She’s talking to her children and they’ve all visited her. Right now, she’s not sure how long she’s going to stay in treatment. She’s taking it one day at a time.”
Also on June 18, TMZ revealed Glanville’s Beverly Hills co-stars were not on board with working with her during production on Season 6, as E! News hinted in their report.
“She’s been difficult to work with and most of the girls don’t want to work with her anymore… The women don’t feel safe around Brandi because of her frequent erratic behavior.”
Although The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills producers are reportedly open to having Glanville featured on Season 6 as an occasional guest, she has yet to commit to a guest role.
Glanville joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during the show’s second season after being introduced to the women by then-star Adrienne Maloof. The following year, Glanville’s friend role was upgraded to that of a full-time housewife. Since then, Glanville has appeared on the show full-time.
Throughout Season 5, Glanville, who has proclaimed on multiple occasions that she acts rash for the sake of the show, butted heads with many of the women, including Eileen Davidson, who the Inquisitr reported will likely return, Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards, and Lisa Vanderpump.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 is expected to begin production this summer.
