Brooks Ayers On Not Losing His Hair From Chemo: ‘I Wish I Was Lying About Cancer’

Brooks Ayers isn’t a fan favorite on The Real Housewives of Orange County, and the cancer card isn’t helping him out. Ayers has moved in with Vicki Gunvalson to deal with the cancer and slowly heal from all of the treatment he has been getting, but fans are questioning everything that they are being told. With other Real Housewives stars questioning his sickness, Brooks is now saying it would be so much easier to lie about cancer.

Brooks Ayers announced that he was fighting cancer in the press after The Real Housewives of Orange County ended last year. Brooks could go to treatment without the Bravo cameras around, and once Vicki started filming the show again, he wasn’t going to chemo. As he mentioned himself, he ended his chemo back in January.

According to a new tweet, Brooks Ayers is now speaking out about his cancer diagnosis, since many viewers questioned his illness. Ayers hadn’t lost his hair from chemo, and he didn’t look weak or sick during Vicki Gunvalson’s party. And since so many people are questioning his illness, Brooks took to Twitter to set the record straight.

“Really? People respond differently to chemo, I did not lose my hair. How about being sick from chemo treatments?” Brooks Ayers asked on Twitter after being accused of lying about cancer, adding, “You only see on what is aired on TV. I wish I was lying about having cancer, it’d be much easier.”

Brooks Ayers wants people to know that he isn’t lying about cancer and he isn’t the con-man that he was made out of be during his first couple of seasons. Gunvalson completely believed him, but viewers were super skeptical, especially after Briana Culberson called him out for encouraging physical violence and domestic abuse. Now, Ayers is defending himself.

“You have no idea what you are talking about. The nerve of some people. Go take out your anger elsewhere,” Brooks Ayers revealed after being accused of being a con-man, and not taking care of his son for several years.

According to the Inquisitr, Ayers’ cancer diagnosis is being questioned by Meghan King Edmonds, who is one of the new housewives. In addition, Briana — who is a registered nurse — has been questioning Brooks’ illness and has even challenged her own mother to think about it. But it sounds like Gunvalson is indeed standing by her man.
