The Walking Dead won’t premiere until October and, while the upcoming spin-off Fear The Walking Dead will debut much sooner in August, fans of The Walking Dead franchise won’t even have to wait quite that long to get answers to their most burning questions.
New announcements have revealed that cast members and creative teams from both The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead will be attending the San Diego Comic Con on July 10 and July 11.
The Walking Dead panel is scheduled for 12:00-1:00pm, on Friday, July 10 in Hall H from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with an autograph session to take place earlier in the day from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Autographs can be obtained at Booth #4237.
The panel, which is going to be moderated by Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick, will consist of The Walking Dead stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chandler Riggs, Michael Cudlitz, Lennie James, and Sonequa Martin-Green. Additionally, executive producer and The Walking Dead showrunner Scott M. Gimple, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, executive producer Robert Kirkman , executive producer, director and special effects make-up supervisor Greg Nicotero, and executive producer David Alpert will also be participating.
The Fear The Walking Dead panel, also hosted by Chris Hardwick, will directly follow The Walking Dead at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in Hall H, while the autograph session for Fear The Walking Dead cast members won’t take place until the following day. Autographs can be obtained at the Hilton Gaslamp?Starlight Terrace on July 11 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Fear The Walking Dead panel will consist of stars Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frank Dillane, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Lorenzo James Henrie, Ruben Blades, and Mercedes Mason. Also joining the Fear The Walking Dead panel will be executive producer and showrunner David Erickson, executive producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, and Dave Alpert.
“I have been warned about Comic Con,” Fear The Walking Dead star Alycia Debnam-Carey said with a laugh. “I don’t know that anyone is prepared for the fans of ‘TWD.’ They are some of the most loyal fans of any show on television right now.”
Joining The Walking Dead panels will be a panel for Badlands, moderated by Roth Cornet. Badlands is AMC’s martial arts series. As is the case with The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead , the Badlands panel will consist of the entire cast and creative team.
