San Diego Comic Con: ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Cast To Tag Along With ‘Walking Dead’ Cast
The cast of AMC‘s hotly anticipated spinoff series, Fear The Walking Dead will tag along with their Walking Dead counterparts at San Diego Comic Con next month. This greatly anticipated panel will include actors who have not attended Comic Con before. Fear The Walking Dead actor, Alycia Debnam-Carey will be attending her first ever Comic Con. She tells Variety about what she has heard and what she anticipates.
“I have been warned about Comic Con. I don’t know that anyone is prepared for the fans of TWD. They are some of the most loyal fans of any show on television right now.”
The Walking Dead panel includes plenty of veteran Comic Con attendees that will certainly please the fans. Here’s the complete list of panelists according to ComicBook.com:
“The Walking Dead panelists include cast members Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chandler Riggs, Michael Cudlitz, Lennie James and Sonequa Martin-Green along with Executive Producer and Showrunner Scott M. Gimple, Executive Producer Gale Anne Hurd, Executive Producer Robert Kirkman, Executive Producer, Director and Special Effects Make-up Supervisor Greg Nicotero and Executive Producer David Alpert. The panel will be moderated by Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick.”
While Walking Dead fans don’t know what to expect from Fear The Walking Dead which will premiere in August, a panel of the new stars will tag along with the Walking Dead crew. It will be interesting to see if the two groups interact with each other and if they let any juicy tidbits slip about either of the shows. Fans are also anticipating a longer teaser video as well as an official start date announcement for Fear The Walking Dead during Comic Con this year. Once again, according to ComicBook.com, here’s the line up for Fear The Walking Dead:
“Fear The Walking Dead panelists include cast members Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frank Dillane, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Lorenzo James Henrie, Ruben Blades and Mercedes Mason along with Executive Producer and Showrunner David Erickson, Executive Producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and Dave Alpert. The panel will be moderated by [Chris] Hardwick.”
The Spoiling Dead Fans website has listed the panels for the two groups as follows:
“The Walking Dead will host an autograph session from 10:00-11:00am on Friday, July 10, Booth #4237; their panel will take place from 12:00-1:00pm, on Friday, July 10, Hall H.
Fear The Walking Dead will host a panel from 1:00-2:00pm on Friday, July 10, Hall H and an autograph session 1:00-2:00pm on Saturday, July 11, Hilton Gaslamp Starlight Terrace.”
